Sharryn has been in the hair and makeup industry for 35 years, working with clients for photo shoots, to television and world class events. Her desire to help others began when she started creating luxury wigs at affordable prices for cancer patients experiencing hair loss as a result of medical treatments. Seeing how vulnerable and unsure her clients were, she want...ed to be a source of comfort and an available resource to help demystify this new world of wigs that many of her clients were embarking on for the first time. Having no idea what to expect, how to act, or what to do Sharryn came in to my life and empowered me to embrace my journey. Currently I study full-time at ECU finishing a degree in marketing and management, juggling kids, and working with Sharryn. Sharryn has given me the opportunity to utilise my skills as a web a...nd graphic designer to help bring the website and The Australian Wig company to life. I work with Sharryn to help grow this beautiful community so she can reach more people that need the kind of care and expertise she can give. I also help take care of clients as having alopecia I can understand some of what they are going through. I also pop up on her social media from time to time to check in with clients too!
