17.01.2022 Halfway through installing 15 modular soakwells with the mini excavator amd mini dumper, total volume of spoil 3.2m3. No sand was deposited on the pavers making the job easier and more profitable, as well as keeping the owner happy.

17.01.2022 After a pool installation this property required the equivalent of a 1500 x 1200 soakwell. The only suitable location was under artificial grass so minimal disruption was paramount. Mechanising all aspects of the job provided multiple advantages: - No spoil was deposited on the surrounding area, preserving the existing crackerdust and minimising clean up.... - We (operator and home owner) moved 3 m3 of spoil to the skip in only 6 trips. - The skip was filled completely to the top, meaning only a 3 m3 bin was required. Normally the ramp dictates how much you can fill it by wheelbarrow. - We encountered a large rock too heavy to be moved by wheelbarrow. No problem for the dumper. - We moved 1.5 m3 of crackerdust from the front to rear for resurfacing. - The efficiency saved the owner money on labour and a larger skip and we were able to conduct a days work in half a day. The entire job was completed in 4.5 hrs.

04.01.2022 Another perfect job for the mini machine combo. Working to locate a leaking hydrant pipe in an active car park. Using the dumper to move the spoil away to a different location meant the site stayed clean and safe. Also no wheelbarrowing which is nice. Excavating carefully around piping meant low revs and a small bucket (200mm).... Always interesting working with different customers.

01.01.2022 Our mini bobcat (1070mm wide) loading our mini dumper as we move 4m3 of bluemetal from this property to another through a 800mm gate, half a cube at a time. This job was a collaboration between neighbours, front of one house back of another. We installed geo grid over geofabric before adding 20mm bluemetal to create a suitable surface for the 3 ton van that will be parked there. More info in a future post.
