20.01.2022 That’s a wrap !! Packing Day 2019 completed in record time. Thank you to all who generously gave up their Sunday morning to pack hampers this morning. Special thanks to Monday’s craft group, who throughout the year have stitched, sewed, knitted, crochet a range of gifts including bags, dolls, toys, skirts, blankets, scarves, beanies, soft toys etc for our Christmas hampers. You are amazing ! This year we packed 208 hampers for a range of agencies including Communicare, Depa...rtment of Communities, Indigo Junction, Reset, White Lion and others. Also thanks to Helen, Jodie, Margo, Trevor and Maryanne for their help at this years sausage sizzles. 2020 sausage sizzle dates will be on our website soon so hope you can come and sizzle for a couple of hours ! Special thanks to my Pam (my mum) and Nick for their love and support, couldn’t do it without them ! Merry Christmas, stay safe and be kind !

19.01.2022 Thursday just past was World Suicide Prevention Day & R U Ok Day. It's great that there is a specific day to bring awareness to a topic that is all too often hidden away. However we would love to encourage everyone to reach out not just on that day but any day to ask someone you know "Are you ok?" and be there to listen - not do just listen. You never know how that simple questions could make all the difference!

18.01.2022 International Literacy Day was proclaimed in 1966 in and effort to remind communities (Local and Global) the importance of literacy for individuals and the community. Each year hundreds of books are gifted in our Basket Brigade Baskets across Australia and our Youth Program sees hundreds of young people provided opportunity to learn. What local or global literacy efforts do you know of? We would love to hear about other efforts to help educate around the world.

15.01.2022 Today, we remember those who served, volunteered, sacrificed, fought, and died for our freedom. They gave their today, for our tomorrows. We will remember them. Lest we forget.

14.01.2022 Due to the current issues facing our global community the board of the Magic Moments Foundation have decided to postpone the 2020 Magic Moments Youth Leadership & Business Summit until July 2021. If you were registered to attend in any capacity you will shortly receive an email about the next steps. We are working with our speakers to deliver much needed online content to support all the youth in our community during these uncertain times. We wish your family health and we...llness at this time and be assured that this too shall pass. Use these rare moments to connect with your family members, play board games, set up obstacle / home work out courses in your back yards, cook food together and support each other. Before we know it we will all be back to our busy lives and it will be the memories of this time that we will hold onto - so make some great memories. If anyone needs support at this time then please reach out, don't be afraid to seek help and know that there are many people who want to help you through this.
