25.01.2022 A quick carb and filter job on this old girl, hopefully that fixes the issues he has been encountering at full throttle. Cheers mate

25.01.2022 After receiving a call regarding a over heat alarm sounding, I didnt expect to come across this at all. A fairly good feeling impellor has torn away from the bushing and completely destroyed its self and yes it was a genuine part..? After I got that fixed and gave her a full service shes back in action once again with no major engine damage. Cheers mate

25.01.2022 Out to fix a seized starter motor and service dans boat prior to sale. I ended up finding the engine and carbs full of oil and locked solid due to a typical VRO fault. After replacing the VRO, stripping all the carbs, replacing the needle/seats and doing a full service I managed to get her running like a dream once again! Talk about smoke machine for the first few mins of run time half the street came out! Cheers mate

19.01.2022 Out for a 100hr major service on Allans 150hp Mercury Optimax along with a bearing check and a replacement rear battery panel which I whipped up. All in tip top condition once again and Ill see you next year mate, Thank you!

17.01.2022 Called out to this one in regards to a overheating issue, unfortunately it was found that the engine has been incorrectly serviced for many years. The internal anodes have been neglected to be replaced and in turn have corroded away and caused a blockage in the engine block somewhere we cant get access to without stripping it down totally. Such a clean engine as well so its very unfortunate, remember a cheap service is generally not always a good one! Cheers mate

17.01.2022 Out again this year for a service and trailer checkover. Glad to see the water separation filter is doing its job. Thanks mate, see you next year

16.01.2022 Out to gosnells for a Major yearly service on Marks boat this year after not being happy with the services he received last year from a local boat yard. During the service we found a fair few things skipped or that aftermarket parts had been fitted instead of genuine which wasnt highlighted to him. Shes all done correctly now to the highest standard using all genuine Yamaha parts and oil. Cheers mate

16.01.2022 Out for a well overdue service on Trevs little Honda. We encountered a few tricky snapped bolts and also a wiring fault causing the engine to not turn off. After spending a solid arvo on her and giving her some well deserved love we got her back to a good usable condition and ready to take out crabbing once again. Cheers mate

16.01.2022 Well this was a hair puller but we got there in the end. The engine wouldn’t run however all electrical parts checked fine, it had good compression along with a clean carby! Safe to say it’s the first time I’ve encountered this issue! Intake reed valves loose... Cheers mate, she’s good to go!

05.01.2022 A call out to look into Jeromys engine starting issues. After checking all engine electrical, spark and compression we moved to fuel and found the issue to be a bad fuel line and primer bulb. This was starving the engine of fuel due to a bad air leak. All fixed and good to go, Cheers mate

04.01.2022 Signs of an engine thats never been tuned after leaving the factory on a run in tune, water also in the gear oil. All sorted now and hopefully she runs better than ever. Cheers mate

03.01.2022 Out to diagnose a running issue with Petes near new Yamaha 4 stroke. We found it to be failed injectors due to water in the fuel. Now a aftermarket fuel water separation filter has been installed along with new filters and injectors. If it happens again the filter will catch the water before it reaches the engine. Cheers mate

02.01.2022 A bit of handy info for anyone thinking of taking their boat out during Covid-19. Feel free to share #Staysafe

02.01.2022 A call out to look into some corroded and snapped head bolts in Adams Mariner 40hp. After getting all the old bolt bodies out they have now all been replaced with a 316 stainless bolt which will hopefully prevent this from ever happening again. Cheers mate
