19.01.2022 If we install merbau timber, we return 5 weeks later to oil. This is because merbau is a highly resinous timber which affects how much oil it will take in. Weathering for a few weeks solve this issue. Check out these before and after photos. Product used is Cabots aquadeck natural.

We cut down the clients existing frame and replaced the glass panels so that the door could be replaced with a wider, glass panelled modern design. Both the door and the surrounding glass were then finished with matching frosting film. The result is more light, bigger impact, and a wider entrance.

08.01.2022 Is your subfloor properly ventilated? An investigation of this clients house found a Relative Humidity of 70% (normal levels 40-50%), which is perfect for mold growth. The ground moisture was so wet it tripped the scale to the wettest end of our monitor, enough to keep aquatic plants alive. Unfortunately for this client, via our inspection camera , we found mold was indeed on their under floor timbers which leads to rotting, it is also bad for your health. We can assist with increasing ventilation and replacing rotting/mouldy timbers.
