18.01.2022 Ok new week and more fundraising coming up. We have a sizzle at Bunnings Armadale on Saturday the 15th August. This sizzle is slightly different due to covid19 rules. ALL who assist on sizzle have to complete an online covid aware test prior to sizzle. Thanks to those who have already volunteered Aaron Crane Vanessa Skinner Gabby Foo I have emailed link to you. We need 5 people at all times. I will do the full day as will Gabby. The easiest formula is having 2 shifts 8-12 & 12-4. Please comment your preferred shift when you comment :) As usual we are eternally grateful for donations of sauce, drinks serviettes and medium sized gloves. We go through at least 90 gloves each sizzle now.

16.01.2022 My weekend was spent assisting Tina and Tracey trying to trap a young cat with kittens at my school. Perth Rescue Angels do an outstanding job. Hopefully well get them tomorrow. For me its bed time for a 4am work alarm.

14.01.2022 Little update on Mr Finley What a whirlwind the last 7 weeks have been with weekly vet visits, 24 hour monitoring and an admissions to the vets over night for monitoring. Finley is growing rapidly so needs to be weighed and have his medication adjusted weekly to keep his seizures at bay and for the majority has been well managed. Numerous blood tests and other testing to make sure he is safe and happy. Our vets are absolutely amazing for everything they do for us he is thriving and such a cheeky little fellow who loves to chew everything including toes and has started to find his voice it’s still a long road ahead for this little guy but he is in the best care possible. Thank you to everyone who has donated towards his care and treatment it means a lot to the team here at PCR and it enables us to be able to do what we do

03.01.2022 BACK TO BACK SIZZLES!!!!!! Yes you heard it correctly. We have an upcoming sizzle on Saturday 15th august at Armadale Bunnings and still need a few helpers. Helpers at this sizzle are required to do an online COVID knowledge test prior to sizzle. We also have an upcoming sizzle on Sunday 16th August at Whitfords Bunnings, we were asked back to fill another cancellation because we are so awesome but we need helpers here too. We also would love any donations of gloves, medium size. Coke, tomato sauce and mustard. shifts are 8-12 or 12-4, if you cant fill these but can pop by for an hour in the morning or afternoon so we can have a drink break that would be awesome

03.01.2022 Have had this exact predicament this week! 3 different foods all to try to get a tablet in him...yet he will eat dog poo any time or day

02.01.2022 With a diagnosis of Pneumonia.... and after over 24 hours in oxygen box Misty has come home. On antibiotics and NO exercise or excitement allowed for the next 2 weeks. Misty will still require follow up x-rays and ongoing care to make sure she is healing. Western Australian Veterinary Emergency and Specialty- WAVES were awesome but our bank account took a serious hammering. Thank you for all donations received but with dogs coming in needing dentals and desexing we really would appreciate any donations xx

01.01.2022 Heaven has a new chihuahua angel Despite the best efforts of our incredible and amazing vets our boy Gizmo was just too sick to survive. We tried baby boy... we had to... RIP Gizmo ... Thank you so much to our lovely vets for trying so desperately to save him. We appreciate you so much for all that you do for us and our dogs
