16.01.2022 Thank you so much for today. It's a breath of fresh air to hear someone tell you that eventually things will happen, gradually, on their own time. In a world where everything is fast dominated by instant gratification and the no pain no gain mentality. I do appreciate everything you share. Thank you Dalia I believe we're very lucky to have a ChiWalking/ChiRunning Instructor like Sadhna here in Perth! Immediately after my second session I felt my runs getting way better. No m...ore tight calves after the first 3Km. More body awareness, posture, feet... Also most of us walk regularly and ChiWalking is amazing! Sadhna explains everything very clearly and is easy to understand and apply! She is very encouragingand reiterates that everything will happen eventually as long as I keep practicing! So no need to rush to get results and then injuries! Instead take it slow, align re-set and one step at a time - gradual progress. Thank you Sadhna Dalia :) :) See more

12.01.2022 What makes a ChiRunner different than a non ChiRunner? This is from page 11 of the ChiMarathon book. Much of what we teach is about body mechanics and physics.... We use our bodies to move as efficiently as possible. We learn to move our body in space while using gravity to do more of work. We teach people to walk and run without using your legs. Wait, what??!! Yes! We use them for stability but NOT for propulsion. When you’re heel striking and overstriding, you’re using your legs to do your work. This is a good way to get injured and waste a lot of muscle energy. In addition to the body mechanics and physics, we add the mindfulness element...which is another game changer! Our ultimate goal is sustainability! We don’t want to ever have to stop running because we beat our bodies up by doing it incorrectly. Most people assume you put one foot in front of the other but that’s why there are so many injuries with runners. Learning to move in a way that is healthiest for your body is a game changer!
