06.01.2022 The Lords prayer is probably Jesus best known Bible message. But what does it mean? This is how he taught us how to pray to Almighty God. [Matthew 6:9-13] Our Father who is in heaven, (1)... Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, (2) Your will be done, (3) On earth, as it is in heaven. (4) Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. The ideas in this prayer can change our lives if believe that (1) there is a living God in heaven whose name we should honour (Yahweh). (2) He has promised us a kingdom which will fill the earth with His glory [Psalm 72:17-19; Isaiah 45:18]. (3) Gods will was done when Jesus submitted his will to his Father and was crucified to take away the sins of the world. For his obedience, Jesus was resurrected to immortal glory.
