03.01.2022 Did you know our Massage Therapist, Stephanie, does cupping therapy? Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy. It involves the negative pressure from suctioned cups, which are glided over an affected area to release fascia (connective tissue) surrounding the tight muscles whilst increasing circulation. You May have seen a lot of swimmers in the Olympics this year with big dark circles on their backs and shoulders. Some bruising may occur but will disappear generally with in a few days, after which you should feel a greater range of motion and relief.
