24.01.2022 Colour Care This type of colour may not be for everyone, you absolutely must follow a care plan for your curls that includes: Regular deep conditioning... Use of a strengthening product such as @Olaplex or @everescents_organic_haircare Remedy Stregthening Treatment Quality moisture products suited to your hair type. When investing quite often a fair bit of money in having the service, you want to ensure the condition of your hair is maintained and therefore, your colour will gain longevity.

21.01.2022 The gorgeous Jessica loving her fresh blonde curls @jesscruickshank_ First time colour and we went from virgin dark curls to beige golden blonde This session took around 5 hours include a full head of foils with @redken Flashlift w/bonder inside, their low ammonia Colour Gels as a low light and the glossy Shades EQ to tone. She was on her way to her birthday dinner, so I asked her to send me a picture when it was completely dry, love client selfies!!

I wanted to share Makailahs @mdyer10_ curls and how far they have come since she first came in 9 months ago! Shes been using quality, clean products and keeping on top of trims...plus her current rich colour looks so lush Styled with @innersenseorganicbeauty . Makailah is a basketball coach and does one on one sessions for kids during Isolation. 19.01.2022 Soft, natural light created on my client from the previous video. Hand painted highlights create low maintenance sun kissed tresses by diffusing where the highlight starts and keeping lots of natural for depth.... This first session was done on completely virgin hair and we achieved 3 levels of lift. On the next appointment we could refresh the tone with a gloss or do another open air lightening to achieve some brighter blonde that really pops!

This is a fun little before and after video...but it's really difficult to understand just how much goes into a before and after like this that we might see on social media! . The canvas we are working on, including density (how much hair per cubic centimetre), texture (thickness of each individual strand), natural colour level, hair history and integrity, will determine how achievable a particular colour goal is, the process needed, time and cost ... . 15.01.2022 My favorite technique for enhancing curls with colour. Heres a run down of how and why... I choose individual curls to highlight if Im working with a stronger curl pattern or panels for wavies, sweeping colour for blendibility or concentrating for a bigger pop.... Depending on the desired outcome, theyll be open air processing, plastic film or sometimes incubated in foil. This controls heat created while processing and open air allows gentle lightening on previously over processed or sensitized hair. After lightening, a demi permanent toner will create depth where wanted, counteract remaining natural pigment, seal off the cuticle adding shine. Curls can be coloured but it must be done gently so that the cuticle layer isnt irreversibly damaged and to ensure the curl pattern is not affected.

15.01.2022 Price update We want to be completely transparent with pricing, so you have an idea what you can expect to pay and duration of your appointment. Colour corrections will still be quoted upon consultation, so the price list is a guide. It's been one year since we have updated the price list - pricing for new client curl cuts have stayed the same. Pricing has changed for returning clients > 5 months between cuts or having a complete restyle.... Colour Services pricing has had an increase (upgraded to Redken colours ) and slight change in pricing structure. Balayage and foiling prices now include Olaplex and toner as these are always performed in salon to ensure the absolute best for the condition, longevity and desired result. I think this will also be much easier to understand There's also now pricing for add on services, such as treatments and stand alone toners. 14.01.2022 Not all curls and waves need the super moisturising curly girl products commonly available and promoted! Less can be more when you're a wavy, have fine density or simply love volume! A dry cut to remove weight, a detox from those heavy products and a protein treatment for ultimate definition. We skipped the curl cream and styled with some of my all time favorites for this style.
