18.01.2022 The pulse diagnosis is another important part of the Chinese Medicine diagnosis. It gives information of the condition of the internal organs and external influences such as cold and flu. It shows the state of the Qi (energy) and blood in the body. The pulse is taken on both wrists and in 3 positions. There are about 29 different pulses ranging from: taut, superficial, soft, slippery etc. Ask your Acupuncturist what your pulse tells you about your body!

16.01.2022 On my morning walk in the hills of Avon Ridge: a blackened landscape, with smouldering tree trunks. A grim reminder of last weeks bushfire... So thankful for the fire brigade to stop this fire from entering onto peoples property! The firebreak below really helped!

08.01.2022 I love this picture of how the Chinese made their herbal formulas in the good old days. Put the recommended twigs, leaves, roots , flowers, stems etc. in a pot and boil it for a few hours and then drink it. So different from the herbal pills, powders and capsules today.
