21.01.2022 Morning all! A friendly reminder - next delivery is next FRIDAY 16 DECEMBER, 4pm (pick up period is half an hour - so don't stress!) at Mundaring Sculpture Park, car park right opposite the pub (it's just a coincidence, ok?) :) Deliveries will be once a month. Thank you SO MUCH for the support on the first delivery, the shares, the likes, the tags and all that social media good stuff that keeps us connected ahead of the real thing. Farmers and eaters (that's all of us) need to work more together, so we love that you've come on board. PS we don't grow turkeys but the alternative...we grow out some beautiful, large pasture-raised chickens for the Christmas table. 16.01.2022 Greetings from us valley-dwellers to all you hill-dwellers, Happy New Year! We are kicking of Buying Clubs again this month, and coming to you THIS Friday. 15.01.2022 Good morning all! Just a quick note - tomorrow's Southampton delivery is going ahead, however we are having some short-term production interruptions right now, so I'm sorry I won't be able to take any more chicken orders :( I'm pleased to say our GLUTEN-FREE, 100% PORK sausages are now available (no fillers, just Southampton Pork and fat), NITRITE-FREE bacon plus eggs from The Organic Fine Food Company. We look forward to being topped up more next month. PS Those who have ordered sides of pork, I'll have the final product with me tomorrow - thank you!

A reminder that tomorrow's chicken delivery is going ahead - as usual, you can order online and this month - we have our own pastured pork available in the form of nitrite free, smoked ham and bacon (gluten-free, filler-free sausages to come!). We do raise the odd pig here and there as they are a good complement to raising chickens. We will be phasing out our pigs in 2017 though to focus more on chooks and ducks. So enjoy while you can! We also have one more pig available as a whole or side at $13.50 per kg...please let me know if you'd like to discuss, great if you have freezer storage or intend to go in with another family or two. 12.01.2022 Good morning friends, greetings from the beautiful Blackwood Valley, where we are captivated by the colours of autumn at the moment! We ARE coming to you this Friday (21 April) @ 4pm, the same collection point at Sculpture Park at the moment... feels like it's been a while! 05.01.2022 Good morning! Thanks all for the interest and orders... I just had a question about average whole bird size, so thought others might be wondering the same. We currently have a good range of sizes, around 1.5-2kgs...average weight is around 1.7 kgs. So that equates to about $25/26 a bird. You can specify on the Order Form a preference for size - medium being 1.5-1.79 kg and large being 1.8-2.2 kgs. i've popped the link below as well, feel free to pop any other questions up :) https://southamptonhomestead.wufoo.com/for/m1cybtvu1ezqcz3/
