16.01.2022 What to expect when booking a newborn shoot with me These sessions are shot in your home, they are relaxed and all about documenting life in those early days. I find everyone, including kids are more relaxed in the home. When planning your in-home newborn shoot, the first thing we have to look at is how much natural light you have in your home with your lights turned off. I am a natural light photographer so the natural sunlight is so important for this session in particula...r. I am here and happy to help though, feel free to send me pictures of the main areas, nursery or main bedroom. I can tell usually pretty quickly if it will be bright enough. Newborn shoots are usually shot around 10am, so it would be best to check around this time. What to wear? I help a lot with styling for these sessions and also have client wardrobe items great for mums and bubs which are free for you to use If you have any questions on newborn shoots, feel free to post them in the comments other wise happy to chat in a private message!

13.01.2022 Tried something a little different here and I really liked how they turned out I played with harsh lighting from the sun. Usually I am avoiding this type of light during your shoot because it can be a little distracting especially if there is more than one person in the frame.. Testing the boundaries - I wanted to see if using the light like this enhances the story and mood What do you think?

09.01.2022 Make sure to check out my stories for all things Prints I could go on and on about how good it is to print your photos. When you see them printed it is a completely different experience to viewing them as a digital product. Plus it means you can see them ALLL the time and not just when you remember to look at them on your phone. This is also the best way to preserve the photo memories long term Do you love to decorate your house with prints of your family? Do you have a c...ollage on the wall? - I am loving wall collages at the moment!! Or do you still need to get organised? - Life is busy / no judgement here

03.01.2022 Are you pregnant and around the 20 - 24 week mark? Ahhh so exciting! Now is the perfect time to start preparing for a maternity or newborn shoot! I have had a lot of soon-to-be mums contact me lately but they have been in their final weeks of pregnancy and unfortunately, I am fully booked for the remainder of 2020. I wish had the time to see more of you, I really do It is best not to leave it until the last minute. If you are 24 weeks or less right now, we can start planning for sessions in Jan & Feb I usually shoot maternity sessions around the 34/35 week mark!
