25.01.2022 With the season near upon us, the Magpies have recruited well and the club now wish to look to meet with anyone interested in volunteering throughout the season, as well as potential board members. Assistance is always welcome throughout the year with roles needed including but not limited to: Match day administrator and coordinator Clothing and merchandise manager... Social media and database correspondent Sponsorship and membership liaison Events and social functions committee and coordinator Canteen assistants Boundary umpires and goal umpires Bar assistants Raffle coordinator Covid compliance officers The club acknowledges those that have already raised their hands to assist but as all can see - we have plenty to do, and many hands mean light work! 25.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce Jakob 'Mini' Williams has jumped on board for season 2021. 'Mini' comes across from North Launceston where he has won an Under 18 association best and fairest and has had valuable experience in the Development League with undoubtedly the most successful club in the state over the past 5 years. Jakob also has a strong connection with the Perth Football Club with both his Father and Grandfather being past players and members. Welcome Mini! We look forward to seeing you in Perth colours this season

Just a couple dates to keep in mind we will be starting pre season on the 16th November and will train every monday and wednesday before christmas. We will do a 6 week block before christmas. 07.01.2022 STATEMENT REGARDING 2020 SEASON The NTFA met with all Club Presidents last night to discuss the ever-changing landscape relating to the coronavirus (COVID...-19). Agreement was reached that there will be no NTFA football played before 31st May, 2020. In addition, football training is suspended for all clubs for the rest of this week whilst we await further information and details from appropriate authorities. As a large community body that touches thousands of individuals and families across six municipalities, we have a responsibility to respond in a consistent manner in conjunction with Government, Department of Health and other organisations across Tasmania, NTFA President Scott Rigby said. It’s important that we also recognise the role our clubs play in their respective communities. We have and will continue to work very hard with them, their members and volunteers to make sure that everyone involved feels supported, Mr Rigby added. The 2020 NTFA season was due to kick-off on 28th March with the Premier & Division One, with the NTFAW a week later on 4th April. The NTFA will continue to monitor the situation closely and regularly communicate updates to clubs and media.
