09.01.2022 We had a beautiful afternoon at Whiteman Park with Perth North Tamil School today. Warmly welcomed by so many families, we enjoyed lunch together, drumming and ...martial arts demonstrations and joined in with traditional dancing. The School has been so very appreciative of the City of Swan’s support and assistance since they began using Kingfisher Community Centre in Ballajura in 1995. ‘Uncle’, the founder of the school, 82 years young (and still teaching!) had much wisdom to share and spoke about the many opportunities Australia provides. ‘You have to come from another country to realise how great Australia is. There is justice and compassion.’ See more

08.01.2022 Thank you Cr Cate McCullough for the appreciation and encouraging words.

06.01.2022 We are delighted to announce that we had a healthy turn out across the school in our first formally announced remote learning sessions for today. This is a great achievement, especially with many of our classes reporting around 80% or 90% participation. The numbers were relatively lower in our beginner classes, understandably because they are too young to actively engage via remote lessons. However we hope to see more and more students joining the remote teaching-learning i...nitiative in the coming weeks. Our sincere thanks to everyone who have been supportive of this initiative, committing your valuable personal time for the greater benefit of our students, language and our community. We will continue to improve the quality of these sessions taking into account any feedback you may have. Please do not hesitate to speak to your childs class teacher via the class WhatsApp group or email; or contact the Tamil School Administration by email [email protected] for any clarification or additional information.
