24.01.2022 Some clients like to let their timber (in this case a beautiful Fijian Mahogany) silver off over time to give it that beachy driftwood look while others prefer to bring it back to life with a coat of cutek oil, usually applied every 6 months. The decision is yours and both finishes look fantastic!

We took this blank canvas and used all our carpentry skills to build a stair case, 3 different styles of balustrade, a privacy screen and the finished timber deck. Very happy clients as we packed away and drove off to our next project.

This project is a perfect example of taking a small unusable space at the end of the pool and turning it into a fantastic outdoor kitchen area complete with a lined ceiling and custom built shelves.

06.01.2022 Recently completed a project in South Perth using this magnificent Thermally modified Burnt Ash timber. We created a clever bench seat with discrete storage hidden underneath with matching screening and decking. This custom made bench seat completed this outdoor area. Burnt ash is a great product that fares well in the WA sun and the thermal modification kills the cells that can cause movement, warping and cracking in the timber. #deckingtimber #timberdeckingperth #perthalfresco #perthoutdoorliving

01.01.2022 While our usual jobs involve building amazing decks, installing modern ceilings and incorporating screens to update any outdoor area, we also love unique and interesting projects that test our carpentry skills (and in this case our logical thinking skills too!). This job involved creating these impressive vegetable planters and using them to create a maze in this clients garden. These Australian cypress planters are a stunning feature and talking point in this outdoor setting and a useful area for our client to start his veggie growing. Hopefully he will be passing us some produce soon!
