25.01.2022 A bit damp overnight but should be fine for a few most of the day after 9am. Charge what youve got tonight guys and see you all in the morning. Cheers
25.01.2022 Spring has definitely sprung! Might need to use the orange canopies.
25.01.2022 First to brave the elements, well done Roger.
25.01.2022 A few pics from todays Heli event at KAMS. Excuse the quality, left the camera behind so these are just off the phone. Was a great day despite the average weather conditions. As we all know - "A bad day at the field with mates is still better than sitting at home watching the rain." #keeprchelisalive
24.01.2022 The PRCHC Inc. is pleased and grateful to announce the successful election of the 2020/21 executive team. Bruce Russell - Secretary & Editor /Social Media Derek Montauban - Safety Officer Congratulations and thanks to all for their efforts in ensuring the successful continuation of the club.
24.01.2022 Great day at Stirling, perfect winters day. Some good club-radery to solve Bens nitro issues then Alex demonstrated how to destroy a canopy but not the heli.
23.01.2022 Such a good looking Heli. #keeprchelisalive #mikadoheli #logo800
23.01.2022 Repainted the field markers as a few keen members braved the breezy conditions this morning. Tomorrow will definitely be a much nicer day, hopefully well see a bigger turnout then.
22.01.2022 Back on a section of the old field, no Markets today so didn't have to worry about curious spectators.
22.01.2022 For those wanting to fly at the Stirling field over the weekend heres the updated policy. Please note and adhere to all of the points so we can maintain our use of the field. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The PRCHC Inc. is committed to engaging in a safe environment, to this end until all restrictions have been lifted the following must be observed by all members and visitors whilst at the Hertha Road reserve for club activities. ... 1. As PRCHC Inc. has no facilities there are no building or surfaces that need to be kept clean and/or disinfected however when setting out the safety signs and cones that define the pit and flying areas hand sanitiser should be used before and after this task. Everyone attending should have their own personal supply of a suitable hand sanitiser for regular use. 2. All members/visitors should continue to bring their own equipment for their personal use only and should avoid handling anyone elses gear. 3. Members who are in a personal high risk health category for age or existing respiratory conditions are encouraged not to attend. Members are encouraged to download and have active the COVID SAFE App. 4. On arrival all pilots and visitors should sign in on the page at the back of the visitors books with the time of their arrival and them time of departure when leaving. 5. Everyone must follow all relevant group and social distancing guidelines that are in place. (Currently maximum 20 persons / group with minimum 1.5m distance.) 6. On arrival at the club, members should check that there is no more than 20 other vehicles currently in attendance. If there is 20 vehicles on site they should park their vehicle in the adjacent carpark up against the copper log fence thereby starting a second separate group. When a space becomes available they can move from the second group to the first. Vehicles should be parked with a minimum of 1.5m between each, a bay apart in the carpark. 7. Whilst comradery has always been a big part of the PRCHC Inc. in the current circumstances for the safety of all those in attendance members are asked to maintain good social distancing practises and maintain the recommended 1.5m minimum distance from others. Standing around engaging in conversations is strongly discouraged. 8. Once you have completed your flying activities you are encouraged to leave the site so that those in the second group may take your place. You can, if space permits park in the carpark and watch the flying activities from there. 9. At all times existing PRCHC Inc. members shall have priority over the 20 positions on the field. If a visitor is in attendance from another club and an existing member arrives then that visitor will be expected to move to the carpark to make way for the club member. If you have any questions please direct them to the club secretary Bruce Russell. PRCHC Inc. Committee 30th May 2020
22.01.2022 Great turnout despite the weather and fathers day commitments. Thanks to Dave Goodall for his efforts in coordinating the day and the sponsors - Mad4Heli, Rapid Helis, Soxos Australia and Zen RC. #keeprchelisalive

21.01.2022 For those that enquired this morning if there was any news on Perth RC Models & Hobbies. Im sure we all wish Brian the best for getting things back up and running soon.

19.01.2022 Awesome day at Stirling today with Nathan joining us for the first time. Perfect weather conditions for a beginner to hover around. Looking forward to see you again mate and that collection of Helis you've acquired.
19.01.2022 No bugs on us, just the spots where theyve been. Practicing good "Social Distancing" at the club this morning.
18.01.2022 Great start to the new season with a good turn out of returning members and a couple of newbies signing up also. #keeprchelisalive
18.01.2022 Beautiful morning despite the 20 plus km/hr winds. Great time for practising some autos.
16.01.2022 AWA now has a Facebook page. This page will be used to promote what's happening on the Western Australian front for and by MAAA registered Aeromodellers and their clubs. Please like and share it so everyone can get on board and be kept upto date with what's happening across the state. If you have club information that you want to get out there then post it to this page for everyone to see.
16.01.2022 Great flight, love to see it in real life.
15.01.2022 Great day out at Whiteman yesterday. Thanks to the organisers that made it happen and all the Heli flyers that attended.
15.01.2022 If this is one of the last days of Winter then bring on Spring.
15.01.2022 2nd weekend of limited flying back at the club this morning. Good turn up, had to start another group in the carpark. Max 20 next weekend will make life easier.
15.01.2022 Lovely way to celebrate WA Day flying with the crew at Stirling. Good mix of older style and new - Electric, Nitro and Turbine.
14.01.2022 It feels good to be back, all be it in a limited fashion and on such a glorious day. Happy mothers day, thanks to the those that allowed their husbands out this morning.
14.01.2022 Welcome back Andrew, great to see an old member returning to the fold. Looking forward to the new toys arriving soon.
14.01.2022 A bit of scale enthusiasm this morning at Perth RC Heli Club.
14.01.2022 Now if the City of Stirling can lift their restrictions we can get back to some flying.
14.01.2022 After the last couple of wet weekends it was good to be back at the field. Thanks to Ryan for his assistance with keeping the weeds down.
14.01.2022 Good theoretical and practical demonstration of autorotations.
14.01.2022 Sunday Scale Heli Porn. CAUTION first video despite being a dial in flight contains lots of blade barking that could cause some viewers to express strange urges. Whilst the second, as with some porn viewing, almost ended in tears.
13.01.2022 A bit of maintenance today whilst I wait for the sleepy heads to get here this morning. Always amazes me how quickly this field greens up after the first decent rain. 2 weeks ago it was a desert, not a green blade in sight, another week and itll be needing a mow.
13.01.2022 Blue skys coming through. Winds dropping off, going to be a great day.
13.01.2022 Great news to hear Perth RC Models & Hobbies are on the way back. Well done Brian.
12.01.2022 In the midst of making a call on the flying this Sunday at Stirling for PRCHC members the Stirling Council this afternoon issued the following statement - The City of Stirling is committed to supporting sporting clubs across the City and we have been reviewing the emerging COVID-19 situation in line with the State and Federal Government advice. In the best interests of the community and to ensure practical measures are put in place to achieve the intent of the government requ...irements. The following changes have been made effective immediately. These changes are set to be reviewed on 30 June 2020 or if the advice from the government is revised prior to this time: The following restrictions have been made in accordance with State and Federal Government advice. o The immediate closure of all club facilities. This includes facilities with Management Licences, Leases, Hire Agreements, other hiring arrangements, all tennis club courts and bowling greens. o We will provide assistance with signage for public court areas to ensure these areas cannot be accessed by members of the public. This will be available as soon as possible and the City will provide this signage to you. o Suspension of all organised sporting activities. This is defined as any training and/or match play on City reserves. All sporting activity (including social) involving two people or more who do not reside in the same residence is now prohibited. o In line with these new restrictions the City has now closed all recreation facilities, community centres, libraries, Hamersley Public Golf Course and will now be moving to immediately close public tennis courts. Well be sending this out to all members, and as & when things change will update members via email and also this Facebook page. I look forward to seeing you all as soon as the current situation improves, in the mean time stay safe and stay in contact with each other via messenger and the various chat pages and join in some of the group SIM sessions. Cheers Bruce Russell Secretary Perth RC Heli Club
11.01.2022 Ryan smoked the rain away.
11.01.2022 Great mornings flying.
09.01.2022 PRCHC have moved 250m North to our new temporary location. This will be for the next 6 months whilst the local council fills the original site with dirt from the Stephenson Avenue extension. Once completed it is proposed to erect 18m x 4.4m of shelters as our new covered pit lane. A bit of short term pain for long term gain. Come on down and put your 2 cents worth into the layout of this area.
09.01.2022 Visiting KAMS today for the Wild and possibly Wet Heli Day. Bring on the fun! Thanks to Dave Goodall for his efforts in getting this event together.
07.01.2022 Perth RC Heli Club on display as part of the AWA tent at Big Boys Toys Expo at Gloucester Park. Drop past and say gidday over the weekend. #bigboystoysexpo
07.01.2022 Alex demonstrating fixed wing mode.
06.01.2022 Lovely morning despite the dubious cloud cover that greated us at the field earlier.
06.01.2022 It maybe the shortest day of the year but we couldnt ask for better with a dozen members making the most of the awesome conditions. #keeprchelisalive #wintersolstice #funwithmates #funtimes
06.01.2022 Would have been a lousy day to fly anyway. Hopefully we can get back to normal soon. Plenty of time to catch up on repairs and get some SIM time. #keeprchelisalive
05.01.2022 Sounds like the Logo 200 by Mikado is going to be one popular little beast! https://www.facebook.com/MikadoHelicopters/videos/197097484919647/

02.01.2022 Ok folks, heres the PRCHCs CoVid 19 policy that has been approved by the Stirling Council to enable us to be able to use the Hertha Reserve to fly. Please read it carefully and observe all directions if you are going to attend the Hertha Reserve so that we can maintain the use of the facilities.
