24.01.2022 As winter is upon us and off-road racing gets effected due to weather please remember there is a some good quality onroad classes being offered at Precc on Friday Nights ..Belmont offroad has seized this opportunity to join in as convid has delayed reopen and if off-road is cancelled to rain when reopened they have a alternative to get there rc fix on the same night ..Bayswater Offroad guys have done the same and all of us at PRECC really apreciate the support ..Rockingham ...onroad run every second or 3rd Sunday .Check your weather Thursdays and dont chance missing out on a little rc social time and book into PRECC for the rc fix ..Only while Convid 19 stage 2 is in effect with Max 20 Over next 3 weeks I can say we will have a full class of FFWD on the stand as cars are in and built and motors have arrived ...such a fun class to drive and can be very affordable as well.. if you use your servo esc set on blinky transponder and radio reciever u would only need a motor and car that start at $199.00 brand new xpress and there is 3 new ones being built at club and 2 in stock at Perth RC This week ..body and game on...is FFWD on road your Destiny??? 23.01.2022 Special Guest going to Precc on Tuesday ..He has not raced a Tuesday since 2019 March ...Ffwd will be unleashed NEW XRAY out laying some laps...Attendance numbers lifted to more people than we have ever had at Precc in the past we are off and going ..Same social distancing on Drivers Stand and one table per person in pits ....Have a Great time ..Can u guys try to bring $15 tommorow instead of $50s as it make it easier on the club to sort out change...Thank you for your understanding and all you do for the club to be strong ..

22.01.2022 PRECC 1/10 GT Rules Chassis 1/10th Scale Four-wheel drive is allowed. Chassis must have independent suspension on all four wheels. Each driven wheel must have a flexible joint, eg: dog bone/s or universal joint/s in its drive shaft. Drive train and suspension design is free from restriction. Flat Pan (1/12th and 1/10th Track Style) chassis are not allowed. The Chassis must not be shaped to gain an aerodynamic advantage.... In principle the underside of the chassis must be flat and parallel to the ground along the entire length of the body-shell. Aerodynamic shaped parts (splitters / diffusers /tunnels/etc) may NOT be fitted to the chassis. Motor Muchmore Racing - Fixed Timing Spec Motor. FLETA ZX V2 17.5T with standard rota - Brushless Motor with Zero timing. Motor Modifications: NO! modifications are allowed in any way at all. This includes any enhancements, improvements, tuning up, shimming, ceramic Bearings, Timing and winding alterations.The Motor to be run is out of the box as is and tampering in any way at all is NOT ALLOWED!. General cleaning of motor and lubing of original bearings is allowed. Gearing FDR Gearing - is to be set between 4.35 Min to 4.5 Max ESC Speed Controllers as per ROAR BRCA list. Speed controllers eligible for Stock classes must provide zero timing advance, along with disabling advanced motor control functions (i.e. Boost, Cheat Mode, Turbo, etc). When the "0 Boost" profile is enabled, it shall be indicated by a blinking LED while the ESC is armed and in neutral position. Body Shell 2 Door GT Style Bodies ONLY - 190mm

We are starting work on the offroad track and need your help. Even if its just an hour every bit helps. We will be clearing the area, starting to erect part of the drivers stand, removing the poles and re-enforcing the roof around this area. 15.01.2022 After some discussion amongst comittee members and club members we have made a decision to make the offroad track 3m wide in all sections of the track. The previous proposed layout was between 2.2-2.6m. This is to comply with rcra rules to hold sanctioned events. The straight is also 10m long to ensure 1m spacing between the minimum 10 cars for main finals. We are a bit limited in layout due to only 4 lanes wide on the track, but would like your feedback for the jumps and sections. Please let us know any suggestions! For reference the track area is 13.5x16.5m. All track section is 3m wide, majority of jump heights are between 200-500mm high. The pole in the middle of the track is required to stay.

Track open from 4.30 till 6.30. ... AGM starting at 7PM till approximately 8pm. You need to be a current financial member of the club to vote, so get your membership done, half price as we are half way through the year. Racing will then commence and we will run as many rounds as time permitts! A nomination form has also been provided below if you will be absent from the agm but would like to vote or submit for a position. Please send the completed form to the email address on the sheet, or provide it to the club by Friday 7pm.

11.01.2022 For those that have not come for offroad before, please enter through the roller door, it will be open and not the usual white door. Under No circumstances is anyone to walk on the carpet if you have been in the offroad area. Doors open 4.30, drivers meeting 6.45, racing from 7.

11.01.2022 We are all set (mostly) and will be having the offroad grand opening tomorrow! The track will be open for practice from 11am till late! Come down and cut as many laps as you'd like for $10 Classes are as follows;... 4wd mod and stock 2wd mod and stock 2wd stadium truck 2wd short course Losi mini t 2.0 brushless (out of the box no mods) We will also trial 4wd short course before the first race meeting, but for now they will not be available to run.

11.01.2022 As announced at Tuesday night racing earlier this week, the AGM will be held on Friday the 21st of August. It will be before racing, starting at 6.30pm. Keep in mind this is 2 weeks away, please make a note of it. We will need as many members as possible to attend and also so you can have a say in how the club is going to work forwards. There is links to the constitution on the website and outlines all rules regarding voting at the AGM and what positions there are to fill. I...f you cannot attend but would still like to vote please contact an executive committee member to submit a postal vote or to apply for a position. We hope to see you all there to vote in the new committee and make a good night of racing after!

09.01.2022 Busy bee any time from 1st to 5th ..full carpet there down with full clean and rebuild ..should take 6 hrs to complete the task ,clean room beside toilet and polish up the bathroom and Brett Leslie will do some plumbing repairs needed and could use a hand...clean the tables and the cob webs off the corners of the room...basically be a full rebuild with new Lay out ..Kyle Frances has taken the time to draw out some new Lay out maximising the track usage ...I was thinking Thursday night 2nd of July from 5pm till 11 we can get it all wrapped up....any help.would be really apreciated but looking for 10 plus people who can jump and and smash this out ...we will put on pizzas as a thank you for club members who pitch in ..any other lay outs or ideas feel free to post up or a better day that suits most ..see you there

Setting up 1/12 and 1/10th touring cars from camber, casters , diff shims, pulley shims and belt tension ,Ryde height adjustments with droop down to corner scale tuning,Tweak, coaching on driving technics. Painting : As offered on vid from Saturday night live from PRECC Bring your body to PRECC 26/05 /2020 cut out and body post holes drilled or marked , bring in bag with window masks from kit I will take home and clean and put window mask on and shoot the liquid mask for Saturdays painting lessons..if you have specific colors you want done then bring them Saturday..will have few paints to do demos but idea is too show how to design and cut liquid mask and spray air brush or rattle cans so you can continue on your next body at home.. If you drop off Tuesday to get ready for Saturday and were looking for a free liquid mask job it will be a $20.00 donation to PRECC Club before body leaves.. will post more as week goes on but lots happening .
