21.01.2022 Champions League Juniors! Last night Perth Glory competed in the second game of their first Asian Champions League campaign and four players who spend some of their junior days at Perth featured in the squad! Luke Bodnar & Giodano Colli: Both Luke and Giodano spent time in the NPL U12s Team with coach Bruno Marocchi before going on to join Perth Glory (L.Bodnar) and Bayswater SC (G. Colli). Bruno now is the manager for our senior men's teams, and also in the squad is W-League... player Lexi Moreno and Perth SC Senior women's player Abbey Meakins! Notable features in the squad also include Balcatta first-team player Adam Zimarino and Floreat Athena first-team player Liam Murray. Tando Velaphi: Tando spent many years as a goalkeeper at the Azzurri juniors with the photo below from his time with the U13s Div 1 team in 2000. Mason Tatafu: Mason played juniors at Perth SC before going on to join the Perth Glory academy, his father Seone Tatafu was also the assistant coach for the U12s Div 1 side in 2013 with current Perth SC players Luke Messina and Sam Flores also in the squad! #ForzaAzzurri

19.01.2022 Putting it all on the line Young Nick McDonald put in a solid shift in his first derby helping the senior men to a 4-1 win over Bayswater. The 18yr old left it all on the park on Saturday, including part of his tooth! A strong challenge in the first half saw a knee collide with his face chipping one of his front teeth. It didn’t phase him though, finishing off the match and securing the 3 points for the Azzurri! #ForzaAzzurri

15.01.2022 Leaping Van Oosten! We take a look at the playing career of John Van Oosten. John was born in Holland and joined Azzurri after starting his career with Windmills in 1964. He established himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the history of the WA game having scored 213 goals in league matches alone - most of them with Azzurri. Van Oosten can boast five First Division championships, three Night Series, three D'Orsogna Cup and three Top Four Cup medals. He was ...twice leading scorer in the State in 1968 and 1971 with 29 and 39 goals respectively. His representative career for WA was impressive, playing on twenty-eight occasions, scoring 16 goals. The highlight for John was in almost leading the State to success in the Malaysian Merdeka Tournament in 1968 when WA finished third. He scored six goals on that occasion and for that he was awarded the Merdeka medal for the 'Best Player of the Tournament'. John was inducted into the Hall of Champions in 2005 and is still a regular at Dorrien Gardens, watching the new generation of Azzurri players. 15.01.2022 GAME DAY It's a big game day for all three of our senior men's teams today as they take on Bayswater City away, with each team having important points to play for. A very special mention to our U20s Men who with a win or draw can take out the NPL U20s Premiership for 2020 without losing a game! 15.01.2022 We kicked off our Night Series competition yesterday with a 2-1 will over Floreat Athena. Goals from Yagoub Mustafa and Jayden Gorman opened our account in the first half before Floreat started the fightback converting a penalty in the 2nd half. 13.01.2022 Top 4 Bound! Our senior men’s game finished 2-2 today which was enough to see them finish top of the lower group and gain entry into the Top 4 Cup for 2020. They now player ECU Joondalup away on Wednesday night at 8pm with the u20s playing at the same venue on the same day at 6pm. We're glad to say Eric is back coaching the 'Italian National Team' and has guided them to the 2020 'Kick it Football' World Cup Final to be played this weekend, #ForzaAzzurri!

05.01.2022 Welcome, Calvin! Perth SC is pleased to announce it has signed midfielder, Calvin Whitney, to the senior men's team ahead of the 2021 NPL Season. Calvin joins the Azzurri from Victorian NPL side Melbourne Knights FC whom he played with during 2019 and early 2020.... Prior to playing in Melbourne, Calvin was part of Football West's NTC program and, later, Perth Glory's NPL and Y-League sides.

EJ Silver and Tatem Spencer (pictured below, 2nd from right) have been selected as full-time players for the U13s NTC side whilst Shenae Rebelo as been selected as an associate player for the same side.... Additionally, the Azzurri will have Alanna Ottobrino move onto the U15s NTC as a full-time player joined by Hannah Collins as an associate player for the side that competes in the U23s NPL league.
