11.01.2022 The treasures you find! We are in York this week honing some concrete and after we had finished work for the day we headed to the Castle hotel for a cold beer and some pub grub. Lo and behold - what do we find! Some gorgeous palladiana terrazzo flooring and inset lettering welcoming us! I guess in a town as old as @experienceyork, there is bound to be some #terrazzo in need of some restoration! @ York, Western Australia

03.01.2022 SEEDING Seeding concrete with marble, glass or other stones is trending right now! Turning standard grey concrete into a stunning surface is a cheaper alternative to decorative concrete or terrazzo. ... Once we lay the concrete, we ‘seed’ the stones or marble into the top of the concrete and then bull float them in, which pushes the stones just under the surface (as shown in these pictures). When we grind the finished surface, the stones are exposed and brings life to your concrete.
