22.01.2022 Not even 9am and this is all the #microgreens I have left. Saw an early flurry, and a week of warmer weather without upping the irrigation has affected this weeks crop. #lifeofafarmer

10.01.2022 I've recently started looking after a 20+ year old stone fruit orchard in the Perth hills. Plenty of plum, peach, and nectarines. It has been run pretty conventionally in the past but will now be taking a turn towards a more holistic style of management. 05.01.2022 I am sure that by now you've heard me going on about microgreens. Well, now I would like to introduce you to Giving Greens, the socially conscious microgreens. Commencing tomorrow at Perth City Farm Farmer's Market, for every quantity of microgreens sold, I will be donating the same amount to Manna Inc who do great work preparing and serving meals for Perth's homeless and vulnerable. It is a buy one, give one form of giving. Knowing that these microgreens are so incredibly nutrient dense, it makes sense to ensure that those with less access to quality produce get to benefit from it too.
