17.01.2022 Young homeless women growing up away from their families already have their fair share of challenges, let alone going through puberty and getting their period. Without a trusted adult around it can be really confusing trying to navigate the daily routines of managing a period, and the cost. We want to help these girls out with a little comfort from Modibodi! We have Barnardos and Modibodi both on board. If we can reach our target - Modibodi will even donate an additional 200... pairs of their amazing underwear to Barnardos! 12.01.2022 Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all had access to meaningful, rewarding work that we enjoy. GetUp is proposing a new government funded initiative that could bring this dream closer to a reality for many of Australia's unemployed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1TteHesJh8&t=4s

10.01.2022 Imagine if everyone purchased one of these bracelets for a loved one for Christmas ....it would provide employment for hundreds of thousands of people in developing countries and clean up 80% of the pollution in our oceans. This is why I LOVE social enterprises harnessing the power of consumerism to drive beneficial environmental and social change.

09.01.2022 You may have heard that I have been working on an exciting little project over the past 6 months called Lonely Spaces a platform that encourages people to share under-utilised space and earn a little extra income from home. My co-founder Nat and I have been working closely with the software developers to ensure the platform provides a seamless user experience where members can advertise space or skills theyd like to share. Members can book a space to rent by the hour/ day,... pay online, and receive an email confirming the booking details. After the booking date, both the space renter and space user leave a review of the experience (thereby building trust between the Lonely Spaces community). Another benefit the platform offers is the SkillsXchange, which allows people to share their unique skills with smalls groups of people in the comfort of their own home. For example Penny may be awesome at making natural skin care products and would be happy to teach a small group of 2-4 people for $25 - $60 per hour (depending on whether she provides the materials or participants supply their own.) Before we launch the Lonely Spaces website, we would love to collect your thoughts on this idea so we can better understand peoples preferences for space sharing and skill exchanges. We have come up with 10 questions which should only take 5 minutes to answer, so we would REALLY appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey https://sites.google.com/epochtraining.co/lonelyspaces/home

04.01.2022 "All human beings can be the authors of their own lives. We are ALL born with the muscles for creativity - muscles that grow with the exercise of self-determination. 03.01.2022 For all budding entrepreneurs - Marie Forleo is one of my favorite online business coaches and she is offering a free start-up immersion course in October when you buy her new book. Woo hoo!

02.01.2022 The antidote to dissatisfaction is gratitude. Take a breath and focus on 3 things you are grateful for today. Highly recommend this short video which explains how gratitude can also counteract negative traits like envy, social comparison and narcissism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPPPFqsECz0

02.01.2022 It's good to take a breath sometimes and reflect on how simple it is to live a life with purpose, when your purpose is to be of service to others.
