During the Summer and Autumn months they are more active particularly when there is loads of rain and high humidity. If you do manage to safely capture a Funnel-web its strongly advised that you to take it to the Australian Reptile Park if on the central coast as they have a venom-milking program which is vital for use as an anti-venom.
