02.01.2022 I had a person call me and ask... "How much do you Charge to install roosting spikes.. I've got heap of pigeons that are causing problems.." My reply... I don't install them, they don't work. They just move the problem elsewhere ".... His reply... " yer they do.....I've got em on the western side of my building and the pigeons are not there anymore". Me....." if the pigeons are not there....why are you calling me wanting roosting spikes fitted?"... Him..."because they are all on the eastern side of the building now".... So after 40 minutes on the phone we decided that I should come out and have a look.... 3 hours and 38 pigeons and 2 mynahs birds later... He is a very happy guy. The pigeons are gone and it cost him under $400. Far less than the $5340 he was quoted for spikes from the other guy.... The lice these pigeons and the mynahs birds were carrying was unbelievable. They were riddled with them. No wonder the staff had seen lice on the lunch room table ......eeewww... But not anymore
