25.01.2022 Yesterday my Love & Hugs for Christmas block was released, along with a downloadable PDF pattern for this little Christmas stocking, called "Deer Friends" that uses the 4" block in the design. It is available to purchase on my website under the "Love & Hugs for Christmas" logo. 15.01.2022 Haven't posted for a little while so thought you may like to see my pattern which is now available (it was part of the Tilda Club for November 2019). "Sewing Time" patchwork block keeper and it is approx. 14" square. The first photo is of the front, 2nd, the back & the 3rd is a close-up of some of the stitchery & bunting which is semi attached. Have to admit I loved making the little bunting! The pattern can easily be converted into a cushion, bag, or you could frame the stitchery for a sewing room. Use the Tulip Star Block on the back to make a quilt, lots of ideas & uses. Patchwork Angel have patterns in stock also. Keep on stitching!

07.01.2022 If you notice I’m a little quiet over the next little while it is because I’m finally having surgery on my wrist this Wednesday after my fall before Christmas. Hopefully business will carry on as normal after a few days however recovery is 4-6 weeks, fingers crossed. Somehow I will find a way to satisfy my stitching bug. During the next week I’m also saying farewell to my Dad who recently passed away. Life’s tough sometimes. Following my recovery will be the next surgery on my shoulder which will really challenge me, however I will still be around to keep things rolling along and catch up on what you are all up to. It’s going to be an interesting year!

A quick make, just in time for Easter which will be here before we know it. Perfect for some Easter egg surprises. Fabric is from the Tilda Woodland range and is just so pretty. 03.01.2022 It was a busy week sending out the next block in Stitcher's Delight to my stockists. Australia Post are struggling with the sheer amount of parcels and mail being sent with the current lockdowns etc, so some parcels take a little holiday on their way out to stores, so delays have become part of the norm. Anyway, pictured below is Block 8 which some of you will already have and some will be getting soon, and then Block 9 with the little bluebirds & buttons. I'm currently feeling like the little mouse in Block 8.

01.01.2022 I’m finally joining all my blocks of Stitcher’s Delight. I’ve found when making my little appliqué squares that depending on whether you follow my written instructions or if you use the diagram, the squares are different in size. My diagram is 2.5 inches in height from point to point whereas I’ve cut a 2.5 inch square and turned diagonally which then turns out larger. As you can see in the photograph, either looks ok, so you can choose which size you prefer and then appliqué in place. Another option you may prefer is to make them circles (just thought of that one)! Or you may wish not to include them at all. The finishing instructions in Block 12 will include all of this.
