19.01.2022 Today I started on the smaller painting closed gray layer, grisaille under painting. I love this process and these gorgous roses are starting to show their personality. Thank you Susan Sheppard for the gift that keeps on giving

08.01.2022 These are a couple of block in starts for rose paintings. A 20x30cm and a 40x30cm on cradled panels. I am going to develope these in the Flemish style so painting two at a time means layers can dry, and I still have something to work on.
