11.01.2022 After 16 years styling and using the kitchens of uncountable homes, my theory is that we are divided into two types of household due to the manner in which we collect and store our eating tools. Firstly - The neat cutlery drawer of matching and well aligned flatware (not napery @jay_ess_pee ) which is used daily and never goes missing a single piece because the home is geared that way and run with military precision and reprimands. The loss of a single blade or tine is cause ...for a trip to Aldi, DJ's, Myer, for an entire new setting!......depending on your calling and financial reserves The second is a more random collection of mismatched bits and pieces which perform the everyday jobs, free of the shackles and constraints of the previous mentioned armoury. Here lies the remnants of mums old Gero setting from 1972, those little bone handed ones you got at Beenleigh flea market and various other orphaned spoons knives forks and whathaveyou.
