20.01.2022 We had a pretty special patient in hospital the other day - Hip Hop is a 133kg (apparently small) black pig ... she was losing control of her back legs and had surgery to release pressure on her spine. She is back home now being looked after by her wonderful carers but we all miss her here !

18.01.2022 Yarra is a young working Labrador - she is a seeing eye dog for her beautiful owner. Unfortunately she became very sick - she had a complete blockage of one of her ureters which caused her kidney to become distended with infection. The infection quickly spread into her blood stream and also into her spinal fluid. She was extremely critical and required a lot of intensive care, 6 different CRIs (including multiple plasma and blood transfusions), and emergency surgery. She is still very weak but slowly making improvements every day. 14.01.2022 This is the beautiful beagle Amber. Unfortunately she had a disc prolapse in her back making her paralysed and she needed emergency spinal surgery to decompress her spinal cord. She’s currently in recovery in ICU getting lots of physiotherapy and pats and cuddles Her dad Callam is currently a student who also cares for his elderly grandmother and has made a fundraising page for her ... if you would like to help then please click on the link below http://gf.me/u/ktfau9

07.01.2022 Zachary is a 2 year old Greyhound that owner Lia adopted 2 months ago. Zach escaped and was hit by a car (hit and run) and sustained a catastrophic humeral fracture as well as pulmonary contusions and a pneumothorax from the impact. Zach needed 2 big surgeries to fix his broken leg and even though Lia hasn’t owned him for very long she has committed to looking after him and giving him the best chance. She has set up a go fund me page to help her pay off his bill - see the link below

06.01.2022 This little kitty Brixi is very special and is a true survivor! She almost went into complete liver failure and was jaundiced when she stopped eating and her liver became swollen and infiltrated with fat and a bacterial infection ... luckily for her she had very dedicated owners who wanted to do everything for her. She spent a week in hospital with a lot of medications, cuddles and feeding through a tube .... now she has her sass back and is on the road to recovery
