20.01.2022 After working with various executive teams over my career, I am still amazed at the truth of this article. It's amazing to think that you can have 5 members of a team that are high performers, yet one disengaged or so-called toxic member can downgrade the entire teams functioning to less than average. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #OrganisationalDevelopment

20.01.2022 If you are looking for your next book to read, totally recommending this one it’s a quick and refreshing read just 88 pages long but packed with great insights and real stories. Whether you own a large corporation or a startup, an aspiring entrepreneur or a seasoned employee, the author, Derek Sivers reminds his readers to always design your business (and life) in a way that makes you happy and it will be the perfect job for you. Easier said than done but marry it with a purpose and a good intention and you’ll make yourself, your employees, and customers happy. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Business #Entrepreneurship #Happiness

20.01.2022 If you are a fan of Pixar and seeking for/in the process of culture transformation in your organisation, then this article is for you. I totally agree with the author, a generative mindset is the missing link between doing good and doing well. An extractive culture, where one treats people merely as resources, just leads to destructive situations wrecks engagement and motivation. Human development is still the fundamental skill set in a healthy organisational culture. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Management #Culture

18.01.2022 Dysfunction in a team is a great opportunity for a leader to look beyond Agile processes and activities and examine the team’s good communication and collaboration practices. Leaders are too quick to blame the inefficacy of the process without confronting the underlying issue of the conflict. This article discusses how to handle dysfunction in Agile teams and I agree with this, leaders need to create safety to allow dysfunction to surface and be dealt with. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Agile #BusinessAgility

18.01.2022 This is one of the most coherent and elegant collection of workplace trends I’ve seen in a while. I have to agree with all of them, great work Dominic Price. Very insightful. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork

18.01.2022 When something is not working in your team, when the team's vision is continually not being met, it’s time to take a step back and examine the leadership culture in your team. Processes are not designed for control. Activating high-performance team is all about human connection and emphasising autonomy, trust and accountability for their work. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Leadership

18.01.2022 DONE can mean different things to different people but what does DONE" really mean? Here is a great article on the importance of defining done and how to utilize it, as a team, to align our processes with our priorities. #ProductManagement #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork

13.01.2022 Curiosity is about searching for new possibilities. It’s about reimagining business models and exploring new ways of working. A great read from MIT Sloan Management Review on why curiosity is an enduring leadership behavior. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #LeadershipDevelopment

13.01.2022 How do you define a good Product Manager? So much are expected from Product Managers, in fact, there has been a lot of discussion on the role (or the need for one) but what separates an exceptional Product Manager from the rest are their decision-making skills, the ability to make sound decisions, based on available data/information in an uncertain and complex environment. This article lays out nicely the framework for Product Manager skills development. Let me know your th...oughts. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #ProductManager

13.01.2022 One of the best articles on Agile I’ve seen from Forbes. Fake Agile - I love this for a couple of reasons: 1. It calls out what I see everywhere, companies talking about Agile, which often just translates into nothing more than having a Kanban Board or two on the walls somewhere around the office. ... 2. It tells the story of frameworks like safe and other so-called scalable agility approaches/frameworks as being agile, when really, it's nothing more than covert command and control in hiding. 3. It talks about the issue I have with agile and the manifesto being so software-centric, when you can take the basic tenets and apply them anywhere - true story.

08.01.2022 I have to agree with this article. Teams are just focusing too much on strict Agile processes that they lose focus on the basic principles of being Agile and Lean. Scrum or Kanban are incredibly helpful tools but processes should adapt to the environment and not the other way around. It’s all about getting the right mindset start with the basics and apply processes that work for a particular organisation and can adapt to the ever-evolving business environment. #FocusOnTheThingsThatMatter #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Agile

08.01.2022 Here is a great article, with an interesting analogy to a military battle plan, emphasizing the most important element when planning a Sprint SPRINT GOAL. Teams should resist the urge of starting a sprint planning (and focusing too much) with the Product Backlog. Focus on the objective not on the plan. Laying down the Sprint Goal first and encouraging the team to collaborate in crafting the final version followed by the product backlog, cultivates an empowered and engaged team working towards a common goal. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Agile #Scrum #Sprint

07.01.2022 I really like how simple this is yet so true. #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Leadership #LeadershipQuote #Business #Culture

01.01.2022 Stories have become a great way to lead through complexity. Become a great storyteller to enhance your effectiveness & lift your culture. Great read on Why Leadership = Storytelling. "Great storytellers have an unfair competitive advantage." #FitfortheFuture #FutureofWork #Leadership #Strategy #Culture
