The Campaspe Shire, in the state's north, has written to Agriculture Minister Jaala Pulford to ask the Government to help ease the financial burden on dairy producers. Campaspe Mayor Leigh Wilson said government-funded rate relief was effective during drought years a decade ago, and could be a big help once again.
