25.01.2022 We had a request from a local resident to see if we could make a "Toy Zoo" for their daughter - What is that you may ask ???? as did I !!!! Well its a small cage ! This one measures 500mm x 500mm x 1000mm high with a removable lid and the bars are elastic. The idea is to store all your stuffed toys in there and be able to take them out when you want too. Well Done Ron for taking charge and finishing this off.

18.01.2022 Car park full today Only a couple of happy snaps today but there’s work happening on the Morris - and ken & Ron are trying to remove nails from some old timber to make more work benches - they are having trouble removing the nails - thank goodness they aren’t dentists !!!! Jigsaw boards are also well underway by some of the other guys Good turn out today - coffee and cake wasn’t to bad either!! Yum

17.01.2022 The Harrisdale Men’s Shed held a small gathering today to celebrate 12 months anniversary of the official opening of the Men’s Shed Thank you to all that helped out today with the food and the set up Also a big thank you to the guest speakers Ruth Butterfield (Mayor for City of Armadale) and Yas Mubarakai (MLA member for Jandakot) to the other councillors, members from other sheds and clubs And a thank you to some of wives that came along with there husbands/partners to see if there really was a men’s shed !!!! Thank you

17.01.2022 A good turn out today with 18 in attendance Well also had a visit from Colin and Bob from the Bicton Mens Shed. Bob is also the Veterans Affairs Officer for the West Australian Men’s Shed and gave a short talk Thanks for coming down Guys By the way - caught a few of the members hard at it - well that’s until the bell goes and the cake & coffee comes out !!!!

17.01.2022 First Bunnings sausage sizzle this year for the Harrisdale men’s Shed at Harrisdale. Come along and grab a snag & a drink today Thanks to all those that have been able help out for the day At least the weather looks good for the day

16.01.2022 Just received some photos from a happy customer with there animal zoo now filling with kiddies fluffy toys. There do seem to be a couple of them trying to escape !!
