25.01.2022 I havent purchased a dog in a long time but when this bitch pup was available I couldnt resist. She is from a line of dogs that were tough hill dogs in Victoria as well as top shelf trial dogs from the days when big casts were the norm. This Glendaloch Gyp.

23.01.2022 Serrano Tiny displaying a bit of grit this morning, this was the first time at the yards and was keen to engaged this cranky old ewe. He is for sale at Tamworth Futurity sale.
21.01.2022 Posting for a friend, Snow Ellis has 5 well bred tri colour pups for sale. There is one female and four males. They are fully vaccinated with C6 having had two treatments, regular worming and great rearing. They are a litter from Snows trial and farm dogs Roy(Novice dog) and Zola(Open dog). These two dogs won the Primex combined score cattle dog trial last year in a big field. The pups are already seeking out stock when out of their kennels and would be well worth trying as trial or work dogs. Both parents have good front end bite and are good casting dogs. 20.01.2022 I saw a bit of this dog, White Dog, and I believe he was also called Pine Gap. At lest thats what a lot of the trailers were calling him at the QLD Championships one year. What great strength he had.

18.01.2022 This is the breeding of a litter due on 27/1/19, there should be yellow, tri and black & white pups. This is Rosscos first litter he has sired. He is half brother to Serrano Ruff and closely related to Serran Slim as they are both sired by Kennallywood Rusty. He has a double up of Parrs Lefty and hence Governor and a lot of Potter breeding as Jiff and Bega are brothers.
17.01.2022 This is a chart for breeders to be able to use when breeding away from Genetic Diseases. Remember that carriers do not have the disease they only can carry it. Carriers can still be used in breeding programs.
15.01.2022 This dog is Serrano Ivy (Serrano Ruff x Serrano Missy). Ivy badly injured her neck as a pup so starting her has been delayed until a couple of months ago. Certainly payed off taking her to a greyhound manipulator on a regular basis.
14.01.2022 Very satisfying day for me today, Serrano Digger and his brother Turbo had their first starts in a trial at Bonalbo. Both made the final of the maiden with Digger also making the final of the novice. They are sired by Serrano Ruff and are from the first litter of Serrano Chook. They turn 1 year old on Anzac Day. Congratulations to Athol Essary for his efforts in training and showing these two youngsters.
14.01.2022 Serrano Snow doing a great job with Tom Curtain on the Dollys Dream tour through eastern Aus. Snow is a litter brother to Serrano Ruff (Kennallywood Sarge x Serrano Pink) and started life mustering with Treva Turner at Dalby before moving to the tropics and Katherine Outback Experience where he is a big part of the dog team entertaining and informing tourists on the capabilities of working dogs.

13.01.2022 This is the next mating to take place. Hopefully it will result in a pregnancy, semen was collected about 20 years ago. Mini is coming into season now and my vet Liz Brown from Northern Rivers Veterinary will do a progesterone test on Friday.

06.01.2022 Serrano Elle decided that sheep were good fun, a big change from taking very little notice of them up to this point. Now she thinks that they are to be worked every time she sees them out in the paddocks. Good result and easy control.

04.01.2022 This a short video of Turbo who is now about 20 months and competes with his owner Athol Essery in cattle dog trials. He is by Serrano Ruff from Serrano Chooky so is bred on old sheep dog lines. He has won a maiden and placed many times.

02.01.2022 Serrano Tiny our pup for the Futurity Sale at Tamworth. This is his 3rd time with sheep on Saturday. He is a cool, confident pup that is accepting his training well. He has just turned 5 months, and weighs 19.6kg. Tiny will be for genuine sale.
