03.01.2022 Dear Members I know we have be quiet for a while - let me assure you its not been because we have been slack!! We have been extremely busy behind the scenes- w...orking with Council and Bunnings RE our site on Den Dulk Reserve ( between the Kinder and Latitude) the council subcontractors should be off the site in December - we have been allowed limited access to start with the layout and on Sunday we built the first bed ( we had to dismantle- left the steel posts ) - It was so exciting to finally break ground and only now do I look back and think we should have celebrated more but we were so excited to finally build a garden bed Note we will be touch soon RE the first of many working bees to build beds - build compost bins and other infrastructure... applying for grants for a green house and shed and starting up the food swaps again ( wont be long Linda........ ) Thanks for everyones patience its been a long 4 years - and a big thanks to COM members current and past ..... and our first Pres and co-founder- Aleisha Matthews Rasheed ....
