24.01.2022 Let me describe my son in detail, because that’s what doting fathers do. First up I hated him for ages, I was completely unhappy with how he was turning out. But then by the time he was a teenager I was just stoked it didn’t seem like he was going to be a serial killer and need to be put in the bin. Secondly he’s made of stained pine. The bedhead panels are mystery timber from a table I claimed from curb side collection. Thirdly I’m happy with how the mitres turned out. Th...e splines are American white oak. 05.01.2022 Just delivered a few things to @nookbrisbane We got a couple American black walnut and white oak stripy cutting boys and a beaaaautiful Tasmanian Blackwood, pencil cedar and white oak cheesy gal. Then two super tall pot plant gals for holdin the 25cm pots in western red cedar. One finished with the toasty shou sugi ban technique. Finishing it off is a 30cm pot gal in western red.
