24.01.2022 I made this saddle a little while ago. It’s a nice little work saddle. Hermann Oak leather. Carbon fibre tree with a double layer of padding in the seat for extra comfort.

23.01.2022 We have a few bridles in stock at the moment

21.01.2022 Legacy of Legends Tamworth 2020. We managed to get a few things together for sale

20.01.2022 We ran a few saddle making courses over the year. Here is a few pictures of the saddles made by the students during the courses. I have had people that had never used a leather tool before through to people that have made a few saddles before. I was really impressed by the quality of the work done by every one that attended.

20.01.2022 I made this Vaquero saddle earlier this year. Made from DN coloured Hermann oak leather and Jeremiah Watt hardware and built on my light weight carbon fibre tree. There’s nothing quite like a buckaroo saddle. I always enjoy making them and having them in my work shop

18.01.2022 Here is a few photos taken during an advanced/ western saddle school with Taphyl Stewart. We made a wade saddle built on a rawhide tree built by Miro Parsenson. Miro is lucky enough to be learning how to make trees from Warren Wright in New Zealand. Warren is without question one of the greatest tree makers the industry has known. It was a really nice tree to work on and the end result does everyone proud. Taphyl did a great job on his saddle. He knew exactly what he wanted ...to build when he came. We went about designing the patterns and implementing those thought. His attention to every detail of his work was first class. The photos follow the progress of the saddle from putting in the ground seat work. Designing and fitting the riggings and skirts. Fitting and blocking the seat and the beautiful job he did stitching the seat through to the finished saddle. It really is a credit to him. It’s an awesome saddle. And to top it off he made the cinch as well. A man of many skills. See more

15.01.2022 This saddle is a little different to most that I make these days. It has a Bronc cantle on it 4-1/2 inches high by 14 inches wide. When I first started making saddle trees commercially 29 years ago it was pretty much standard kit. Built using Hermann Oak leather and HSB hardware. I really enjoyed making it.

14.01.2022 It’s been a rather hectic start to 2019. We ran a few saddle making schools in January. The students had varying degrees of experience. Some had never picked up a leather tool. Some had made saddles with me before. I am really happy with how it all went. I hope they are all really proud of the saddles they made. Here are a few of the saddles made by Darren. Ash and Brad

09.01.2022 A few pics of one of my latest builds

07.01.2022 I built this vaquero saddle recently. I really enjoy making these saddles. They allow for a lot of creativity.
