25.01.2022 Being a jewellery for nearly 30 years I have collected a lot of gemstones over that time.... so instead of having them just sit in the safe I have decided to make some jewellery with them. 25.01.2022 Just finished this diamond engagement ring remake... my customers original princess cut diamond was a bit small but she was patient and 30 years later her hubby treated her with a new ring and we were able to keep the original diamond and design a new ring around it...well add it to the side of the ring and put a few extra diamonds into the design :) ... she was breathless and cried....was a precious moment

24.01.2022 Well it has been a huge start to this year. After 6 years of having a design studio/shop I have moved my business back home again for a stint. Due to my land lords wanting to move interstate they needed to sell their shop and so I had to move out. It's all good and I am very excited for what this year and the future will bring. So now I am focused on making high quality one off pieces of jewellery. I am still setting up an office and place to meet with customers but I am able to take orders and meet up at a local coffee shop if that suits. 19.01.2022 Just finished another batch of 18ct yellow gold diamond set coins for Royhill mine as a corporate gift for their business partners. It's an honor to have the opportunity to make these coins and custom made timber boxes.

19.01.2022 Cloisonne enameled tulip pendant set with pink sapphires and diamonds... was a lot of fun to make this piece :) ... it's no Debbie Sheezel but was still a lot of fun.

14.01.2022 This ring incorporates all 3 elements of sentiment. This customer really wanted a Family ring that could be passed down to his son and when he saw the potential to add extra personal features from his wife and himself he went all out. The band is made in palladium with his fingerprint on one side and his wife's fingerprint on the other side inlayed with white gold. The shoulders are set with his and her birthstones and the family crest in white gold as the central feature. I spoke to him a couple of years later and he still wears it with pride :)

So this second pair of earrings features 6mm round rhodolite garnets in a full rubbed over setting with a crescent holding up 5 chains of baroque pearls with a rose gold bead at the end of each row. The center chain has another rhodolite garnet set in a rose gold rubbed over setting in each earring. 05.01.2022 I just finished this 18ct white gold diamond engagement ring....

04.01.2022 This piece was originally heart breaking. My customer had/has a 500 year old heirloom family crest ring. He wore it all the time, which is great I guess but he even wore when fixing his cars in the garage...well the inevitable happened and he whacked it and broke the hand carved onyx. So he began the search to find a jeweller who could remake the ring and after about 10 years of looking he discovered me (the funny thing is he's just in the next suburb). I was able to salvage ...the design of the crest but wasn't able to have it made in onyx but was able to make the replacement ring in gold with black enamel in the background. He was thrilled with the results and again, wore the new ring every day. A year or 2 later I was able to get in touch with a very skilled craftsman in the USA who was able to carve the crest in onyx for me and I was able to remake the original ring in gold with carve onyx with the crest. Very happy customer and I urged him to wear the gold ring for everyday and just wear the good onyx ring for good...but....lol. See more

04.01.2022 Creativity at Its Best...!

03.01.2022 I have had a very interesting morning. I sat down to get a couple of photos ready to post and to pin to pinterest and the more I looked through my collection of photos of the finished pieces I realized that I have made a lot of 'family heirlooms' over the last few years and that this is what I'm passionate about. I am absolutely honored when I get a request to make a Family crest ring or piece of jewellery for a family's special occasion. here is a snapshot of the page of rin...gs, cufflinks and pendants. The interesting thing with this is that I know the details of every ring I have made intimately, who they were for, why they got it made and what was the occasion. Over the next little while I will post each piece individually and tell the story of that piece. I'm really looking forward to sharing this journey with you all and hope it inspires you to consider your family connections. See more
