Paula has recently graduated from a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Architecture A + B and has been actively involved within the architectural community through the UWA ALVA Student Society and as SONA Representative for the Australian Institute of Architects.... She assists senior staff with contract administration, variations and creates graphic representations. 17.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM Daniel Giuffre, ifLAB . . Daniel is Co-Founder of @iflab.design and is currently in collaboration with PHA. Giuffre is a computational design specialist specialising in creative applications of advanced generative and computational design and fabrication technologies. He pursues cross-disciplinary collaborations, where his technical and theoretical expertise enables other designers and practitioners to realise their work.... If/LAB is a multidisciplinary design and consultancy company with a focus on the use of software for the purposes of design, manufacture and building. If/LAB currently focuses on art and architecture and aims to continually be at the forefront of innovation. 03.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM Patrick Beale, Advanced Timber Concepts is the Director of Advanced Timber Concepts, (ATC) Studio and has been part of the architecture industry for many years with experiences in practice, research, and education in the UK, Europe, Qatar, North America and Australia. Patrick has authored a number of research papers, conference papers and book chapters exploring the material properties of timber seen throughout his projects. .... . ATC studio is an architecture and design led studio with expertise in the use of engineered, plantation and native timber working across multiple scales in the public and private construction sectors. The studio aims to exploit the material and structural properties of both engineered and plantation timbers to position the resource at the forefront of the sustainable future of the design and building industries. . . Patrick must be recognised for his role in the design and construction of the multi-award-winning project, The Pingelly Recreation and Cultural Centre receiving the 2019 Architecture of Necessity Awards in Sweden, multiple Australian Timber Design awards, The Wallace Greenham award for sustainability and the George Temple Poole Award at the Australian Institute of Architect’s 2020 WA Architecture awards.
