24.01.2022 It's been a week now since Rach + Dayne tied the knot, and I may have finally found some words to describe it and how it left me speechless. When I sneak the bride and groom out for sunset I'll often recommend they just take a few moments to soak in the day, what it means to them, and to simply be still with each other for a while. I want to capture incredible images, but I also don't want that to get in the way of them slowing down and taking in what can be a whirlwind of a... day. For the first time I took my own advice, and for a few moments I stopped, looked around and thought about what it meant to me also. Firstly, the sky was bright pink and it was one of the most incredible sunsets I have seen, let alone experience while shooting a wedding. I was in awe and probably shedding a tear because I get emotional about that type of stuff haha. Secondly, I went to school with Rach, and it was insanely special to see her so happy and to marry the love of her life. When I caught up with them before the wedding I loved hearing about their story, how it all began and how they have journeyed to where they are now. These guys have been on a crazy adventure and have been through some things some of us couldn't even imagine. So to see them declare their love for each and commit their lives to each other was incredible. I honestly never tire of seeing people get married. Lastly, I told myself that the day I start taking my job for granted is the day I need to find something else to do. I am honoured to know and witness beautiful humans such and Rach & Dayne get married. And furthermore to have the massive honour of being trusted to make sure those moments are captured is overwhelming. I love what I do and I put my heart and soul into it. If I am trusted to capture the biggest day of a couples life I don't want to treat that lightly. This probably makes it appear like I was crying and in my own little world for 10 minutes while these guys were waiting for me to start taking photos haha. But somehow all these thoughts rushed through my mind within about 10 seconds and then we managed to make some stunning memories. So thanks Rachel + Dayne for allowing me to be part of your wedding and trusting me on the biggest day of your lives. xx

05.01.2022 It was an incredible day out at Wandin Park Estate celebrating Maddie + Marc's big day! These two are hilariously delightful, and it was impossible to not get caught up in their infectious joy!

04.01.2022 I have known Loren & Isaac for a little while now, so to see their excitement in the morning, hear them declare their love for each other and to destroy the dance floor with them was an incredible joy! To have the honour of capturing their day was pretty darn special.
