18.01.2022 Valentine's Day in a chopper We went for a chopper flight over the famous Jim Jim falls and and the picturesque Twin Falls. Kakadu in the wet season is stunning and awesome to see from the air. I hope you enjoy this photo of Twin Falls. I am putting together a little video of the flight stay tuned also a video on the gear I took with me. Comments welcome and appreciated.

14.01.2022 My first photo for the new year 2021. This photo did not come easy, we followed the storms all over the place without any luck. It was getting late and the lightning strikes started so we pulled up just outside of Jabiru on the Arnhem highway and photographed for a good hour or so catching a few strikes shooting across the sky always to the side of my image. We could see a lot of action in the distance down the Kakadu Highway and tony wanted to go there I was a bit hesitant a...s a lot of the action was just clouds lighting up without strikes. We got to the first causeway around twenty klm away and set up under torch lite. I was not sure if I had correct focus as it was pitch black 8.25pm. I set my camera to thirty seconds and pressed the shutter button to see if my exposure was correct and as soon as I hit the button the strike happened, all I could do was hope and pray that my setting were correct. Straight after it started to rain and we had to pack up and call it a night. The image tells the story. See more

06.01.2022 A bit of a different way to see the Magela Creek not a drop of water in it. but looking spectacular with this fire racing through it.

06.01.2022 Nice way to spend boxing day. Short drive along the Oenpelli road to photograph one of my favorite spots Magela Creek at the crossing. The water is still quite low but it is so peaceful and relaxing watching the water flow and the odd fisherman trying there luck on the barra. Enjoy the image comments welcomed.

04.01.2022 What a show tonight, Jan 2 2021, as a thunderstorm lit the sky of Jabiru with bolts of lightning in every direction. The lightning was set with a beautiful kakadu sunset backdrop. Photographed at the picturesque Jabiru lake. Kakadu captured for all to see. Comments welcome.

02.01.2022 Upper Ikoymarrwa Falls in Kakadu National Park What a stunning place for a little photography and a swim. This image was shot with a 10 stop ND filter on the Nikon 810 for 30 seconds to get a lovely flow on the water, as it was very windy I also done another shot at 250th of a second without the ND filter to freeze the leaves on the trees. Then with a little layering and masking in Photoshop I have combined the two images to make this stunning photo. Sharp trees with a stunning waterfall.
