23.01.2022 Young Michael Alsop-Orchard is the titular character in the Rocky Hill Musical Theatre Company's upcoming production of Oliver! Looking forward to another great RHMTC production, which begins its Goulburn run on 22 November at the Goulburn High School Hall. Check out their page for dates and for more information about the show before opening night.

19.01.2022 For a while, I've wanted to do a series of portraits featuring the creatives who live in the Goulburn district. Goulburn is home to so many talented artists, musicians, performers, writers and creative visionaries, across the full spectrum of media. People like the ridiculously talented Sally O'Neill, a Goulburn-based painter who spends her working days passing on her love of the arts to the district’s school kids through the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery. You can see some of... Sally's work, a series of self-portraits, hanging on the walls of her studio. My thanks to Sally for allowing me to capture her in her creative space, and being the first in what I hope is a series of shots celebrating Goulburn’s creatives. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of this series, flick me a message or tag them in this post. #RightNowInGoulburn

14.01.2022 A couple of months ago, I was asked by the Weekend Australian to take some photos for a review of the Argyle Inn at Taralga. The review was printed today, and I can 100% confirm the hen and mushroom tortellini (pictured) is magnificent. Thanks to executive chef Hugh Wennerbom and head chef Brenden Gradidge for allowing me into their kitchen.

11.01.2022 It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but this year I’ve been able to showcase some of the women of Goulburn sport. Here’s a very small selection of shots from 2019. If your team is keen for a similar shoot, flick me a message on here or email peteroliverimagery at gmail dot com And if you haven’t already, flick this page a like for more content down the track.

08.01.2022 A sneak peak from today’s shoot with Canberra-based Mixed Martial Artist Maddison Franchi. Keep an eye out for the full shoot.

04.01.2022 There's something about watching old musos having fun on stage. Songs they haven't played together for years clicking, the occasional minor technical hiccup, and quite a few laughs. Last night, my good mate David Cole's old band Ice Cream Headache reunited for one night only, playing all their hits for founding member Peter Bayliss's birthday. It was great to see them together again, some ten years after they last played at the Pot Belly for their Midlife Crisis reunion gig.

04.01.2022 Here's the full shoot with Maddi - a Canberra-based Mixed Martial Artist. It was a fun afternoon - we had to retake a number of photos of Maddi belting the bag - "I just like punching and kicking!" she said, with a big grin before unleashing another hook. A huge thank you to the crew at the Stockade Training Centre for letting us use their space on Saturday afternoon. And sometimes, you just need to end a shoot with a donut.

03.01.2022 It's been a while since I've shot a gig. A few snaps from The Casuals' first ever gig tonight at the Goulburn Club. Great work Katie and Mark, and always fun to support locally-grown talent.

03.01.2022 Huge congrats to Goulburn’s very own Jarrod Croker, who will run out for his 250th game for the Canberra Raiders this weekend. Here’s a couple of portraits I took of Jarrod at a Raiders pre-season training in 2015, not long after he’d been named in the NRL All-Stars side for the second year on the trot. Nearly four years later, he’s the Club’s all-time leading try and point scorer, only the second ever player to play 250 games for the Raiders, and is the second youngest player in NRL history to notch up 250 games. Add to that a Dally M Captain of the Year award in 2016, and it’s an incredible career so far for a great bloke. Onya, Jarrod #Croker250
