Peter Rasmussen has over 20 years industry experience and 10 years specialising as a casting director. Graduating from QUT in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting, Peter has a strong foundation in actor training and with the combined experience as a casting director, Peter has the inherent ability to coach and guide actors to be more creative, directable and personable in their work. Peter has been profoundly affected by various techniques including Lee Strasburg, Ivanna Chubbuck, Eric Morris, Uta Hagan, Sanford Meisner, Robert Cohen, Mark Travis, Practical Aesthetics and Howard Fine. With an acting career including Film and TV and Shakespeare for schools, Peter has drawn his influences together to form his own methodology.

13.01.2022 Applications are now open for the Screen Diversity Showcase!! The Showcase will bring together five writers, five directors and ten performers from diverse backgrounds. The selected creatives will collaborate on five distinct projects, all to be filmed as five-minute proof of concepts. The program will culminate with all participants being flown to Sydney (if required) to film and edit their projects, before exhibiting them at the Showcase event, attended by the key decision-...makers in Australian television and film.
