25.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. #Lestweforget
25.01.2022 So very disappointing to have treatment at the SWRCC, discontinued for a Mt Gambier cancer patient because of Covid19 and South Australian/ Victorian border closures. Come on everyone.... do the right thing in lockdown and get us COVID free. #stayathome #maskup
25.01.2022 It's great to know that our cancer centre, the South West Regional Cancer Centre, is saving patients and their families from travelling to metropolitan areas to receive their radiotherapy treatment. We can continue to celebrate our community's generosity and hard work that made this fabulous facility a reality.
23.01.2022 Exciting to visit the South West Regional Cancer Centre today and see the 3D printer purchased as part of the Peter's Project Foundation 2018-2019 annual funds distribution in the region. Fabulous technology to assist in treating some of our radiotherapy patients and great to see our community's generosity continuing to work hard into the future.
23.01.2022 Big shout out to local young lady, Bailey MacDonald for her support of the South West Regional Cancer Centre, by making and selling hair scrunchies and raising $3,700.....and after being interviewed on local radio, a generous Ballarat man heard of Bailey’s endeavours and has matched her funds with another $3,700!!! Great things happening in our community in tough times!
22.01.2022 Daffodil Day is so very important so let’s donate to ensure ongoing cancer research.
22.01.2022 Take care everyone. Hope you all have a Piglet. Stay safe and stay at home
22.01.2022 A BIG shout out again for the 2nd year in a row to Bade Ness Rural Business and owners Roger Bade and Brad Ness for a fabulous contribution of $4000 to the Peters Project Foundation today. This amazing amount is the combination of funds from the proceeds of the sale of rolls of Integrated Packaging silage wrap and also a generous contribution donated by Roger and Brad themselves. Thanks to Roger, Brad and staff, associated suppliers and yet again our wonderful local farming community for their continued support.
18.01.2022 Thanks for sharing your story Bill. The Peter’s Project Foundation financially supports the South West Regional Cancer Centre’s Survivorship Program offered through ICON staff at our Warrnambool facility. Community funds continuing to support great outcomes for our region!
16.01.2022 Today is the annual official R U OK? day. Every day is actually R U OK? day because it should be ....to support anyone going through a difficult time or needing someone to chat to any day of the year 24/7. Life isn’t always great and it’s good to have friends or someone you know that you can talk to, whether it’s about something serious or something not so serious, it’s just good to have those conversations.... If you feel something’s not quite right or you’re worried about your mate, make your chit-chat have an impact. Asking the question and listening demonstrates genuine care and concern. It shows that you may be able to offer assistance and it really gives an opportunity to be a connector for additional support in an authentic and genuine way. It’s not just asking the question but its the importance of checking in with someone after an R U OK? conversation to see how they are going. Ask R U OK? It could change a life
16.01.2022 Very proud to be part of the fundraising for the Paediatric MRI appeal. It will be fabulous that these children, sadly some with cancer tumours, now won’t have to travel to Melbourne for their MRI. What a great community we live in. Good on you South West Healthcare .
16.01.2022 A blast from the past - 6 years ago today our community raised $5 million....in an amazing 9 months! Still feeling proud

15.01.2022 It never ceases to amaze us of the continued support from our community. Last night our local Warrnambool Kiwani’s club presented another fabulous contribution to the Peter’s Project Foundation. Their hard work has delivered a generous cheque for $16,100 which will go toward our annual trust fund distribution for cancer related services in the region. This brings their total contribution over the last years to about $140,000!!! Thank you all at Kiwani’s for your dedication to community.
