24.01.2022 Hi all. Sadly, due to the current circumstances, Petersons of Mudgee have for the time being, temporarily closed our cellar door. While we have done this with much regret, we feel that we all have to play our part in this current situation. We are still able to offer wine sales via our Petersons Wines web site: www.petersonswines.com.au Or alternatively for Mudgee locals, you can order wine and have free home delivery for purchases of 4 bottles or more. For all other inquires please phone the cellar door on 0263733184 In the interim, stay safe, healthy and always keep a bottle of Petersons close by just in case! Regards from the Mudgee mob!!

22.01.2022 Petersons Wines have now introduced digital sign in at all their Cellar Doors.....making it easier, quicker and safer for you to check in and enjoy your tasting experience. We have also registered with the Government and been given the Covid Safe Tick of Approval. Though you will find changes in our Cellar Doors in keeping within the Government requirements, you can be guaranteed the one thing that hasn't changed is the great Petersons welcome you will receive along with Mudgee's best wines.

22.01.2022 Well after what seems forever, we have finally reopened our beautiful little cellar door for tastings. Same hours as before but with a few big covid crisis changes: - Tastings are by prior bookings only, so please phone well ahead - All tastings are to be seated only, therefore we have a very limited amount of places available at any one time with social distancing requirements being in place. Though everyone is keen to get out and about this long weekend, please be aware that bookings are filling up quickly for the mudgee area, so think about a mid week get away to our beautiful region. So plan ahead and take a trip to beautiful Mudgee, pop in and see us sit down and chill out with the birds as seen enjoying our first real frost of the year.

12.01.2022 Sorry for the delay on the Vintage update, weve been very busy here in the winery for Petersons and Savannah Estate! One month in and were well underway. Smo...oth sailing starting off with lovely crisp sparkling base of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. We now have our 45 year old vine (planted by and Ian and Shirley Peterson) Pinot Noir safely tucked away. The last time we produced a Hunter Pinot Noir was in 2009, an absolute cracker! Two exciting Semillons this year, our 40 year old vines from Petersons Mount View and Ben Ean Lindemans vineyard. For our Chardonnay lovers we have beautiful full flavoured, ripe, rich fruit most of which is off fermenting nicely! Only days away from heading off to barrel. The old Petersons Mount View Chardonnay returning to Savannahs Cask 1. Ben Ean Shiraz is due to be picked Thursday evening, this will be the second year we have taken this iconic Hunter Valley fruit! We eagerly await some new and exciting varieties from Mudgee along with those big scrumptious Reds! And patiently we await our cool climate varieties from Armidale later in the year.
