20.01.2022 So finally got grandma Repaid. She has a new ceiling and a new sacrificial seal around the door. So happy with some of the decisions I made some 25,30 years ago In building her in such a way that repairs would easily accessed. the roof for example just sits on the stack bonded walls. The roof frame could be lifted off very easily and replace. I was amazed grandma made the trip from Beechmont to kandanga any way, But now 3 years later I finally got the repairs done. Now it's... just a gas feeding ready to go I call her grandma because I built her out of inheritors from my grandmother, Sometime ago. She has a very Over sized flew, Which was quite deliberate I now have perfect control over the kill in both oxidation and reduction. She gives us some of the best copper reds I've seen. Thanks grandma you live again

05.01.2022 So the kilns I have a grandma. Explain how she got her name from grandma. In the next one is Stuart I bought Stewart a Stuart laid from Gretty Lane Pottery. About 10 or 15 years ago. When is Glenn the small kill probably about, 16 to 18 cubic please. He comes from Glen Buckley Of Pomona. Glen permanent loan.... Then there is Lawrence the electric kill. And guess what, I got Lawrence from a chat name Lawrence on the Gold Coast and rebuilt him. And last but not least, there's the Rowley pearla, He comes from Rowley Drysdale of Coroy quixotica. He was an electric kiln but I converted it to guess. I called call him Rowley, But after the 1st 2 reduction Arabian luster firings Ellen decided it was such a good kiln she call it "the perla". So is now known as the Rowley perla. We will use him shortly as a Raku kiln. And hopefully have enough time busy work life to do some more luster firings.
