Some graphics to come, rubber flooring in the weights room, sinks, taps and tiling and a lick of paint and it will be complete. First photo shows the team involved including West Lakes Physio partners Sandy and Mark, Podiatry First owner Adam, West Lakes Physio staff and Tandem Building Group representative.

29.01.2022 Masterplan for the Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club - now with the club to seek the funding.

27.01.2022 Found this research into the value of small practice architects and the work they do in renovations and additions to houses. From a capital gains point of view an architect's involvement can significantly increase the value of your home - the research suggests 11 times that for every dollar spent on the architects fee! I big tick for us small architectural practices.

24.01.2022 Just a note to everyone that visits this page - I am still busy working on projects - I am currently working on a heritage residence at Parkside but the client prefers I not share photos on social media so I cant show what I'm doing. I will post some drawings for those that may be interested.

24.01.2022 Part of my job through the construction phase of a project is to undertake regular inspections of the work to ensure quality and drawings are followed. The client moved into their Wayville property 6 months ago and I undertook my final "Defects Inspection" yesterday - to sign off that the home has been completed to my complete satisfaction. Here are some shots of the building now the client has made it their home. A great result and a very happy client. Thanks to the team including Bower Construction, their subcontractors, MLEI Engineers, Alan Carter Cabinetmakers and of course ..... the client Lisa, Mark and kids!! It was fun working with you guys!!

02.01.2022 Building Designers - BEWARE!! https://architectureau.com//queensland-building-designer/

02.01.2022 But as part of my involvement with the architecture community I do enjoy sharing my experience with young Architecture Students so have been working as a tutor over the last 8 or so years in the latter part of the year for half a day a week. Today I started again for this year - its wonderful sharing knowledge with such enthusiastic Architects of the future - SOme shots of my walk to campus this morning - UniSA City West Campus.

02.01.2022 Photos of progress at the House at Kingswood. Starting to take shape with the polished concrete slab pored for the new outdoor living space and the deep steps which lead down to the pool. Dividing walls in place and internal works progressing with the large aluminium stacker doors/louvres in place and tiling works progressing in the bathrooms and Laundry.Cabinetry also installed in the Laundry and dressing room.

01.01.2022 A new project I'm working on at Mount Osmond. The views from the house over the city are amazing - so the plan here is to rip the North Elevation walls off, raise the ceilings to follow the new roof lines to take advantage of this - drawings here are in with Council for Planning - the photo shows the current North Elevation which doesn't take advantage of the views. Not much work is being done along the sides of the house - focussing on entry, kitchen, living and dining areas.
