There have been people placing orders who never pick them up or contact me. It makes it really hard when I am holding orders that I could have sold to others. Yes! the ever popular Pastie Slice is now available to order. Great on these cold nights, pop in the oven, keep your home warm as you start to smell your pastie slice aroma filling the room....Oh Yum..Just Yum.... Pete’s Aussie Meat Pies are delicious, filled with aussie mince beef and gravy in a delicate pastry you will just love the combination....with or without sauce these will tame your hunger instantly. ORDER NOW ....on this site ....BAKING this SATURDAY 11th July. PICK UP AFTER 4pm.... Pete’s pies are great to use in the ...pie floater..... want the recipe? here we go ... 1. Heat your pie(s) in the oven at about 160 deg fan forced for 30 mins, longer if frozen 2. Grab ya can of mashed peas (available from supermarkets) empty into microwave container. microwave on high about 4 mins until nice and hot. 3. Take a large bowl, place hot pie upside down in the bowl, pour generous amount of green peas over the pie. 4. If you like, add some vinegar....about a cap full over the peas, then drown the thing with tomato sauce or a sauce of your choice...! Bam !!! there you have it......Enjoy Maybe you have a favourite way of enjoying your pie. Why not share it, would love to see ways you enjoy your pies.
