You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. ... Please give your dogs plenty of love, cuddles and appreciation today and every day, we are so lucky to have them!
23.01.2022 Join our grief support group! This group is for anyone and everyone who is grieving a loss and needs support and kindness, or would like to support others who a...re dealing with this difficult time in their lives. Losing a pet is extremely hard to deal with, they definitely leave their paw prints on our hearts and take a piece of us with them when they pass over to the rainbow bridge. This is a safe place for all of you. I hope each and every one of you find comfort, kindness and support in this group by your fellow group members. Lets honor our kitties and pups that have gone before us, and support those who are hurting from a recent loss. https://www.facebook.com/groups/therainbowbridgegriefsupport/ (Photo by Linda Miller)

11.01.2022 It doesnt matter how small they are.....all animals need love..... this is a beautiful video about a guinea pig shelter in the US. Rescues and shelters are doing it tough. If its time for you to fill a space in your heart, check out a shelter or a rescue..... theres so many babies looking for forever homes.......my rescue babies were the best decision Ive ever made.
10.01.2022 Vale Jet, thank you for your faithful service. Rest peacefully.
10.01.2022 No one tells you how quickly dogs age. How one day you wake up and suddenly their face is all white, how their eyes start to seem more milky than before, how yo...u have to call their name a few more times than you used to. People tell you not to blink when you have children, but what about the dog who was with you before your children were even thought of? The dog who was by your side before you found the love of your life, the dog who jumped from apartment to apartment in your early 20s. No one tells you to cherish every moment you have with them Cherish the dog. The one whos been there through every break up and every dumb fight with your best friend. That dog who slept in the bed with you when you were lonely and made you feel safe when you left home. Cherish him, because one day youll take him on a walk and hell start to get tired before you and youll realize just how many years hes been walking by your side.

03.01.2022 WHY DOGS LIVE LESS THAN HUMAN Heres the surprising answer of a 6 year old child. Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfho...und named Belker. The dogs owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldnt do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belkers family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belkers transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belkers Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, I know why. Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. Id never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live. He said, People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? The six-year-old continued, Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they dont have to stay for as long as we do. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like: When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy. Take naps. Stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily. Thrive on attention and let people touch you. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When youre happy, dance around and wag your entire body. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk. Be faithful. Never pretend to be something youre not. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently. Thats the secret of happiness that we can learn from a good dog.
02.01.2022 Wishing you all a safe and peaceful Easter. If youre on the road please drive carefully!
02.01.2022 "SANTAS EYES FULL OF TEARS" Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung... by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, With no thought of the DOG filling their heads; And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap, Knew he was cold, but didnt care about that. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Figuring the dog was free and into the trash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the luster of midday to objects below, When what to my wandering eyes should appear, But Santa ClausHIS EYES FULL OF TEARS! He unchained the dog, once so lively and quick, Last years Christmas present, now so thin and so sick. More rapid than eagles he called the dogs name. And the dog ran to him, despite all of his pain; Now DASHER! Now DANCER! Now PRANCER! Now VIXEN! On COMET! On CUPID! On DONNER and BLITZEN! To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall! Lets find this dog a home where he will be loved by ALL! I knew in an instant there would be no gifts this year, For SANTA CLAUS had made one thing quite clear; The gift of a dog is not just for the season, We had gotten the pup for all the wrong reasons. In our haste to think of giving the children a gift, There was one important thing that we had sadly missed. A DOG SHOULD BE FAMILY, and cared for the same! You dont give a gift and then put it on a chain! And I heard him exclaim as he rode out of sight, You were not given a giftYou were given a LIFE!!!" *text is copied and pasted, NOT written by us*
