25.01.2022 This term in Treasure Cove our project has been school readiness. To help the children feel comfortable and supported with the transition to school, this week in the studio we started with a big brainstorm on all things school and extended on this by drawing pictures of us at school

25.01.2022 Day for Daniel Day For Daniel is this Friday 30th. Day for Daniel is a National Day of Action hosted by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation (DMF) to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention. Held on the last Friday of October each year, it is about educating children and adults about keeping kids safe through child safety and protection initiatives. Please wear red to show your support for this amazing foundation.

23.01.2022 *Staying Connected* In Treasure Cove today our friends Zoom chatted their friends that are staying home. We were so excited to get to our friends who we missed so much!! We also read two story books together puppy mind and the Gruffalo. Finishing off with singing and signing our alphabet and I can sing a rainbow. It is great that we can stay connected with all our friends during this time

11.01.2022 Sensory play is a childs way of examining, discovering, categorising and making sense of the world. On Monday our littlest explorers in Baby Boulevard spent some time exploring the sensory bottles. This activity also encourages reaching and grasping which is an important stepping stone on the road to self feeding, reading, writing, drawing and self care.

09.01.2022 This term in Burrows Lane Centre 2 we are celebrating cultural diversity in our room. Today we celebrated one of our families cultural backgrounds with a British high tea. This included scones, scotch fingers, English muffins, infused tea and water.

05.01.2022 Darling Drive have been working on creating a sustainable garden. Today we were finally able to harvest our garden and pick off the leaves. We then put them into ziplock bags and gave them to Miss Charmaine in the kitchen to use in our lunch. Yummy Yummy

04.01.2022 We will remember On the 11th day of the 11th hour in the 11th month we remember the soldiers, nurses and doctors that protected our country. In Angel Avenue and Baby Boulevard they created poppies on paper and on the table with paint. They also listened to the poppy story and had a minute silence for those that fought.... In Treasure Cove we created poppies from art materials and wrote letters and pictures to Legacy for the families of those who have protected our country.
