24.01.2022 Covid Delays suck! My beautiful babies have been sitting down at the docks for over a week now - just waiting to be cleared. There is nothing we can do other than push each day and hope we get the go ahead to pick them up. Arghhhhhh, this kills me. My main aim is for you guys to have good, old fashioned customer service and when I say I will deliver, I will. This has not been the case on this occasion. Everyone who has pre-purchased, I cannot thank-you enough for for your patience & understanding. We are at the ready! Packing tape piled high, shipping labels printed and all hands will be on deck the day they arrive. Thats my promise. Lockdown stage 4 SUCKS!!

23.01.2022 Welcome to the weekend! Think Ill mix it up go to a different park within my 5km radius, be home by 8pm and soak up the sun for exactly 1 hour. Has everyone done their Fathers Day shopping?? Ive covered my Dad and Step Dad... Ill pop them up tomorrow - pretty chuffed with them! Is Rosie gift enough for Mr Kate??? : via @tegan_jean for @dreamyspacesandco

23.01.2022 Mr Kate often comes out after doing all the leg work of bath, story and bed time only to say "she wants you..." when all this "supervisor" wants is an uninterrupted glass of wine. From a performance review perspective, I think Rosie could work better with her colleagues..... Just sayin.

22.01.2022 After our day yesterday, this one made me smile! When you hit the decade where your age begins with a 4, staying up past midnight becomes an achievement! And let me tell you, I make this achievement happen every NYE because suddenly, I decide Im 20 again and aint nothing going to stop me partying like its 1999. So to say I feel a little ripped off this year is an understatement.... I even added a serious hangover to my game plan because I was so excited for 2020 (and possibly completely out of practice) Never mind, I will return this NYE with my dancing and drinking shoes on and optimism high. The least we can do is send this Sh%$ Show packing.....

21.01.2022 The rain hasnt stopped the ENTIRE weekend down here. As a Melbourne-ite its been a mixed bag for me. Stuck inside our apartment has been challenging but when its pouring with rain & freezing, I actually couldnt imagine being anywhere else. Its small but I love it. I whipped out the original TableTent (see stories) and plopped Rosie beneath while I got about with a few jobs Ive been eyeing off. (Mount Washing) : via @thisloveandchaos for @dreamyspacesandco

21.01.2022 Friday night laughs! Hands up if just keeping the children alive in lock down is productive enough??! Washing? Yes, its sorted - sorted on the floor into piles of dirty, less dirty & could be clean but not 100% sure. Toy Rotation? Yep, got that covered! sort through the mess made yesterday and you might find something you missed! And dont even get me started on the morning weather crosses to warm holiday destinations I might be able to visit sometime in 2037. Ahhh, lockdown V2. Honestly, if youre still baking banana bread and Marie Kondoing we might have to rethink our friendship.

20.01.2022 Well lookie here! Hullo!! We have almost reached 7k over on insta! Not even 12 months and what an amazing group of social media friends Ive found. Im Kate! Founder of this little cubby business. Rosie is currently the chief testing officer and hubby is working hard managing, dispatching your orders quickly & being our technical guru! Thank you so much for joining our family. We are all about making imaginative play EASY! You bring the table, we bring the cubby. We are Melbo...urne based and I can assure you there is a person always at the ready to answer questions or have a giggle with. Supporting our business is supporting my little family which is SO appreciated. And when I say support - I mean comments, double taps on posts and sharing us with your friends is just as important as buying from us. Dont underestimate showing love without spending a cent! You would not believe how far that goes. If you have read this far, show me an emoji below if you think we should have a giveaway when we reach 7k over on insta but will run it here too! See more

19.01.2022 FREE SHIPPING What makes extended lockdown bearable? Free stuff!! We have turned on free shipping until next Tuesday night. Including the beloved Rose pram! (Only a handful left) Let me bring easy dramatic play into your home. Im not all that good at crafting, I prefer setting up a cubby, telling Rosie about the magical world beneath the table and then getting myself a cuppa... #yourwelcome : via @thisloveandchaos for @dreamyspacesandco

18.01.2022 Who doesnt love a pink tutu and a pink cubby! Lets start the week right with a little bounce and flounce. Last week wasnt the best for us - we lost our beloved family pet of 15 years which was heartbreaking and to top it off, cabin fever got us hard. Hopefully this week its onwards and upwards. I actually have a question for my beautiful little insta family - does anyone know of a Golden Retriever breeder in Victoria? I know there will be a wait-list I need to join and where we got Gracie 15 years ago is no longer breeding. Any help or suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thanking everyone in advance! : via @tegan_jean for @dreamyspacesandco

18.01.2022 SUNSHINE!! Melbourne brought us the goods today. For that one glorious hour we are allowed out, we soaked it up. Man! Toddler-ville and cabin fever are a test. Apartment living (for us) has many perks & its meant we have been able to travel along with living right in the heart of Melbourne. But when activities are limited as they are at the moment, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be taking soft toys to our local park to play hide and seek with.... I literally packed up more crap than I ever thought humanly possible for a trip to the park at the end of our street today. I know this is memory making but geez - give me an trip to the zoo or a drive down the coast!! **PRAM UPDATE** 7 LEFT!

18.01.2022 This week I was told outright in comments "I would NEVER pay $300 for a pram let alone a DOLLS PRAM" Actually, I get that opinion and respect it! (yep, you read right - I respect it) Ive thought the exact same thing over a particularly expensive range of German wooden toys If I could sell these babies for $100, trust me, I would! The reality is, they are beautifully made, purchased in small batches (only 50) and made to last years. All the toys in my very small collection... are created with what I value as a customer.... (and I can be a bit of a tight bum customer, so Im fussy!) Durability Versatility Quality Beautiful The pram has been tested in our home. It was given to Rosie on her 1st birthday and has been used daily since she got it. For me, its been a wonderful investment in Rosies creative play development & I decided this year I would add it to our collection and did so proudly knowing how long it can last, how beautiful it looks. I am the first to say its an investment toy but I am also the first to say, its 100% worth it. If I wouldnt pay $295 for it then Im not going to ask you to. 17.01.2022 Iso Mondays = the worst! All the expectations of a new, fresh start to the week but in reality, they are just an extension of the weekend and the previous week. Today, the wheels had fallen off before double digits on the clock even hit. Battle 401,273 to get a jacket on Rosie. My reaction... to simply empty her ENTIRE wardrobe outside the front door and declare "IT"S ALL GOING IN THE BIN ROSIE. EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING MUMMY HAS EVER GOT YOU IS BIN BOUND" I believe this is called Shock and Awe" tactics. Reality - I had to tidy my own mess and console a 3 year old who was devastated by this news. (Despite only 5 mins earlier refusing to wear her fing jacket) Pop me under the table anytime! Dont under estimate the power of kids (and adults) escaping reality in their cubby! : via @thisloveandchaos for @dreamyspacesandco

17.01.2022 Found myself a little quiet patch this arvo. Using it to sort trough the home office (Dining Room table and bookshelf behind it) and get a bit organised. I didnt get very far as I have ended up looking at all the original sketches of the cubbies and my non negotiable list. Every design HAD to include an animal so if any child was to play in their cubby alone they always had a friend. You know what, this is still a non negotiable. Who is your favourite? Astro Ted? Some Bunny loves you? Goldie Puppy? Firemans Friend? I keep meaning to give them proper names but ultimately thats for their forever home.... Free shipping to forever homes at the moment. xo : via @roseycreative

16.01.2022 Its been a bit manic today! I have left finalising Christmas orders down to the wire! Emailing the factory late this arvo with final numbers and decisions... when youre so new and growing - every (big financial) decision comes with so much fear! Add in a pandemic and god knows how many greys have spouted today alone! Good news is - we hopefully have an Aussie Bush theme TableTent coming with a whole new cubby shape! BookClub is also getting a makeover so hopefully we have ...it back up and running soon! In the meantime, can I suggest this stunning book - The Wonderful Things You Will Be. We have had it since day one thanks to a dear friend. Swipe to see Rosie, day one and her book. It makes me tear up these days. I love reading it to her and imagining what is ahead. : via @velveteen_babies (so desperate to get one of their tear drop garlands) See more

16.01.2022 Well aint that the truth!!! Hardest part?? Having a dinner plan EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. (Let alone the last 8 million weeks that has included breakfast, lunch AND dinner) Biggest lockdown meal mistake?? Serving porridge with flamingo sprinkles one time and now I get asked for it NIGHTLY while everything else is greeted with disappointment! Opps *this was not in the manual you know!!

15.01.2022 Ohhhh, The Rose Pram & Home Sweet Home TableTent. A match made in heaven (in my humble opinion) Im so immensely proud I can contribute just a small collection of toys that ignite imaginations, fit into smaller spaces and are cute to boot! Thank you for visiting us, hanging around and getting to know us. Welcome to our family! xxoo Kate

14.01.2022 A little independent play? Yet, right in the centre of the family living space! And at the end of the day, whip it off the table and dinner is served.... How cute is little Lottie playing in her TableTent! Today was a serious work from the kitchen table kinda day in this house and I just flung our cubby over it while Rosie played beneath. Dont get me wrong - not easy & I lost it more than once but it could have been 1000 times worse too. I say a #winwin

12.01.2022 This review makes me laugh Every. Single. Time! "Holy S$*T ... It could not be more perfect" Kahlia from @a.mothers.bond you crack me up! We also love that you LOVE your pram! And lucky you got yours, because there aint many left. #pramlove

11.01.2022 We interrupt normal insta programming to wish this guy Happy Fathers Day! As a travel agent, we have had him home for quite some time this year & kinda loving it! (Most days ) Mr Kate is helping pack your orders, manage them when they come in, doing courses to help our biz grow & splitting toddler-ville duties 50/50.

10.01.2022 Friday Night! Would you believe its the same old ... Couch, wine and the hope Rosie is asleep by 8pm! This is just a little close up on the details. Each cubby has their own little special detail. Words, post box, roll up flaps slot etc... All in the spirit of creative and independent play. Something I love hearing the kids first reactions to their cubbies. Last week I got a message saying how a brother and sister have been counting down and saying blast off for last hour. This is what its all about. (also, special mention to Mums listening to the same thing over and over)

06.01.2022 Anyone needing a hug? Last night I sent out an email about how we dont need to be Pinterest perfect! God knows I am far from. Today was just plain hard. Windy, lockdown confusion in the media and a teething toddler. As I sit here tonight contemplating Fathers Day, I realised I have a colouring in card!!! (Winning!! thats what Rosie will be doing in this house) From our hand drawn pink house - we have the cutest card that can be used for so many occasions! DM your email and Ill shoot it through. Im not organised enough to to add a link or anything technically advanced tonight. Its a printable and its made to be shared

06.01.2022 Ahhhh, its the weekend. Friday night feels over here! Happily kicking back on the couch after a very much need (illegal) bump into friends at the park today. The sheer joy on Rosies face followed by the total meltdown at home time absolutely told me it was the right choice for our home. I feel emotionally recharged and Rosie fell into bed tonight telling me all about the camp fire she built, how she rode her bike and ate blueberries. Play for children is SO FUNDAMENTALLY vital for our kids. My heart has ached for only children lately and I know Im not always enough. I am distracted, busy and sharing play with household chores or business stuff. Tomorrow its pouring with rain - you will find us in the cubby and maybe even hosting a zoom play date beneath the table. : via @a.mothers.bond for @dreamyspacesandco

06.01.2022 The countdown is on! The vintage camper cubby & Vintage Rose pram are only 14 days away! Im beyond EXCITED! What Im fundamentally not excited about is working in retail over the coming weeks in Melbourne and facing people purposely trying to enter our stores without a mask and without a legitimate excuse. Dont be a maskhole! If you dont want to wear one then stay home and treat all the retail workers with respect and dignity. Anyone who decides to film themselves being maskholes and films innocent workers should be immediately reported to the police. : beautiful image by @thisloveandchaos

06.01.2022 Sad Mac = FREE SHIPPING! We just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has tolerated our cranky old website! The volume of traffic the past week has tested her (and me!) As a little thanks we have FREE SHIPPING for the next 48 hours! This includes the Pram and Camper! Im usually a giant stodge when it comes to shipping costs so this is right up my alley. Our little way of saying we appreciate the support and we know how annoying it is when websites dont make shopping easy.

05.01.2022 Two years on and I still find Rosie tending to her dollies in the pram. Her pram has actually been getting photographed the past 6 weeks and as result, its been on forced toy rotation. I think the sign of a good quality heirloom toy is when they ask for it when its not there! She has been on my case about it for weeks and Im not sure how much more time I can buy! When I get it back I will show you guys on stories how lovely and compact it is. Thats one of the reasons I love it - it fits nicely into our apartment while looking beautiful.

04.01.2022 Hands up if you spy what I spy in this swoon worthy room? Why hello Rose PRam and welcome! We hope you had agood trip and we look forward to unpacking you this week. Im getting warehouse Dad to give me a final count of pre-orders but from my calculations we have 7 left! Get in quick as I am still deciding if I do another shipment before Christmas. Thanks @carlyriewoldt for the picture inspo from Pintrest. We are expecting big things from Poppys new room and her new pram. (no pressure)

03.01.2022 Monday Book Club (a day late) - we would love some suggestions! I keep getting comments about how many wonderful books Rosie has & I must say, she absolutely does. My secret? I asked for only books at my baby shower and as a result this has lead to the most beautiful collection of books that keeps growing because its become somewhat tradition for people to give Rosie a book for birthdays, Christmas etc... I love it! I make sure friends and family write in the cover and before we read any book I am now asked "who gave me Mummy" Iso is testing me - we read A LOT! so hit me up with more ideas!! Also, I follow some really beautiful book accounts over on Insta... take a look at @squishyminnie in Kyneton and @bookieboobox online. These guys keep me wanting more and more..... : via @mamalobke on insta.

02.01.2022 Hands up if you have missed the Vintage Camper? Guess what!!! Shes BACK. While I was busy making a song and dance about the Rose Pram, this baby just slipped back in without any fuss. Always the way with the first born Im told. A tried and true favourite in our cubby collection and I hear its beginning to make its way onto Christmas lists. (ummm, Christmas??) I am absolutely hoping you guys will love our small but new Christmas collection - right now its all about the planning and some very hard work happening behind the scenes to make it happen. Watch this space.....

02.01.2022 The prettiest blue door I ever did see & made me smile. R U OK Day has got me thinking Today my thoughts have gone to all those small business warriors who have quite possibly faced their toughest year yet. Or those (like me) who took the plunge moments before covid hit. (we launched in Jan) For me, fighting for my business and throwing myself into a start-up has been my saving grace. Ive loved my new found community and felt welcomed from day one. So I count myself luck...y on the business front. Its kept me busy when my other job has been closed & given our home routine when the wheels began to fall off! But.... Where has my biggest challenge come from? Honestly, its only been recently and hit me where I would have NEVER expected. Personal friendships. The situation in Melbourne has become seriously divisive. For the first time ever I am struggling with friends of 30+ years having very different opinions on the decisions being imposed on us. Normally, these differing opinions make for lively and fun chats & elevate dinner conversation. This time, its hard to accept a different perspective because the reality is, the lockdown decisions are affecting my household so deeply that putting my rational knickers on and understanding some of my closest friends & their very different perspective is not coming easily - if at all. Friendships are my life blood. I am an only child and they are my handpicked family. Recently, Ive needed to regroup and truly accept we have all been pushed in whatever direction because of deeply personal circumstances. Im OK but fragile. Are you OK? : @clementine.and.co See more

01.01.2022 I am one of the luckiest small biz ladies at the moment! I love that I get the opportunity to introduce myself to you guys every now and again. I am not too good on the old stories and showing my face but just know there is most definitely a face behind this brand. Rosie is supervisor-in-chief of all things cubbies, my hubby has been affectionately labelled "Mr Kate" and is the brains behind all the logistics when your orders come in. (speedy dispatch is his game plan) And I am Kate..... an apartment dweller who craves toys that pack away easily but still look beautiful. Hence the TableTent was born. We are always available for a chat or to answer any questions you have. Say Hi below!
