26.01.2022 Sorry for the expletive but we couldn’t resist sharing this! We’ve obviously had our good bois and girls sits cancelled for the foreseeable future, as none of our clients can go anywhere ... and we handed back Arrow the Mini Schnauzer just yesterday We’re now settling down in our home shire of Noosa... and we can think of worse places to be stranded! ... Stay safe, everyone, and we’ll see you on the other side! Xxx

24.01.2022 Wishing all of our friends and followers and a very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year! Weve just had a lovey Christmas Eve breakfast, with presents, and a very tearful farewell, with Arrow and his owners! do you like his new Christmas bandana?? Were on our way to Logan for a new sit starting tomorrow, Christmas Day, with a couple of Maltesers, a kitty, tropical birds and three fish tanks...! Xxx

24.01.2022 The only place to be when it’s the hottest place on the planet! Buster found a new toy frisbee in the ocean... he loved it for ten minutes... then destroyed it, and wondered why we couldn’t play with it anymore!!

24.01.2022 Awww ... paw to paw...

23.01.2022 Arrows recipe for happiness: run into the surf then run into the dry sand and roll about... get all crispy then run back into the surf and then the dry sand... repeat over and over again!

23.01.2022 Wow #missfrankieweiner

23.01.2022 So were here with Cain - the big sook and the very cute Lady... who is quite taken with Andrews head! and lots of very pretty fish...

22.01.2022 Time to say bye bye (for now) to the Marsden Menagerie! Their mum and dad are back from their Christmas camping holiday and everyone has been reunited! As always, whilst were cleaning and packing up, the animals know exactly whats going on and stick to us like glue! Then they dont give us a second glance when mum and dad get back! but thats just how it should be xxx

21.01.2022 The ring necks have had their daily cool water misting... and now its playtime! Such curious birds!

20.01.2022 When you put the budgie to bed but hes just not ready! Meet Pete the Beatboxing budgie! Every sound you hear - including the dog barking sound - is actually him...Priceless

16.01.2022 We are back, reunited with Miss Frankie the chihuahua-Weiner! And whats more... she has a new step-bro! Meet Ned! No one is really sure what breed Ned is, but theres a lot of Pomeranian in him. Frankie is still in charge of everything and every one, of course Three weeks of cuddles coming up in this glorious setting looking out to Fraser Island....

16.01.2022 So, Pet Loving Housesitters had a night off between pet sits.... and then this happened! Absolutely head over heels in love with these two little fun balls! Dani Collis xxx

13.01.2022 Neddie Noodle lurves the hose....

13.01.2022 Were not just about furry beings at PetLovingHousesitters! Weve become quite attached to Geraldo the rescue beardy at this sit. Bearded Dragons are extremely docile and easy to handle ... and theyll only bite if they mistake your finger for a cricket! Geraldo is shedding once again, so his normally very strict routine is all off kilter. Hes sitting in unusual places and not sleeping under his rock as he usually does from sunset. Were misting him with water several ti...mes a day to help the shedding process and making sure he eats his veggies! He goes nuts for strawberries and spinach leaves. He also loves cockroaches and which are on tap here - flying in to the house from the palm trees... if we can catch them! Love the way his eyes follow you around the kitchen... just like the fur kids do! #beardeddragons #beardeddragonshedding See more

13.01.2022 The last days of summer, spent with this gorgeous pair .... xxx #gsps #gsp #petsitters #busterandstorm

13.01.2022 Back again in Casuarina with Storm and Buster! This time for 7 glorious weeks! We arrived a few days ago...a few hours after Buster had picked a fight with a half metre long goanna in the garden ... and lost. It bit him quite badly on his heel - and he had have it cleaned and bandaged plus antibiotics as a goannas mouth is as rancid as a crocs! As Buster is a prolific chewer... he had to wear a head cone and gaffer tape on his bandage. That didnt stop him nibbling at it, so we have been squeezing lemon juice on the tape - which worked! But today he got the all clear from the vet - the dressing is off so hes back in the ocean and the pool ... Some might say hes learned his lesson.... but somehow we doubt it!

12.01.2022 And this is Pete the budgie! He obviously only talks when you walk away, for attention, but hell dash across his cage if you put your face near it and say ello he also likes chewing on my nails...

10.01.2022 Having fun in Logan with the menagerie! Weve learned that birds take a few days to trust you enough to engage with you. They watch closely....and then when theyre comfortable they chatter away! Pete the budgie now talks non stop! He was a school budgie so he says hands on heads and shshhh a lot... he also barks like the dogs! And heres Ricky, one of the ring necks, getting his morning almond... hes very gentle

10.01.2022 This gorgeous boy....

04.01.2022 The normally mild-mannered Storm, when she gets a whiff of a treat....

04.01.2022 Ooo we havent checked in for a while! Largely due to us taking a bit of a break in Victoria for a family wedding followed by South Australia for wine tasting! But were back in Noosa again, reunited with our first ever client Arrow the Schnauzer, for the sixth time Its hot and humid and Arrow is quite a teddy bear - so we take him on the beach or to the river, early morning and sunset walks, otherwise he gets tooooo hot and just plants himself on the ground and wont go any further unless you carry him! Weve also introduced him to the Bunnings trolley ride and he loved it!

01.01.2022 We love it when the campsite dogs come to visit us..! We always carry treats just in case....
